We came here for the first time today and our visit was excellent. Lovely menu and amazing cakes. I came with my wee girl, brother, sis in law and my niece. Great place for families as very child friendly and the girls in the cafe are very friendly. Will definitely be back very soon.

We all (2adults & 3kids) had a lovely lunch here today! Excellent menu and fab little corner of toys for the kids. It was very family friendly and made for a relaxing lunch with our motley crue. Thank you for managing to fit us in today...we totally appreciated it �

This is a smashing wee family run cafe with gorgeous food. The milkshakes were absolutely amazing! The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We had 4 children and a baby with us and they were more than content in the play corner. They were in their element. Bought homemade cakes/traybakes for us all as takeaways - they were fantastic! Love this place - can't recommend it enough. We will definitely be back!

This is a gem of a place, fab food, the lentil soup is amazing, and my husband says the cakes are yummy. Service is great and one of the few places to eat that I would go on my own. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. You must visit.

Such a lovely little place, the food was well cooked and delicious, the staff treated us like friends, nothing was too much trouble. I loved the decor and the other little odds and ends they had for sale, all handmade. The food all freshly made on the premises. Can't wait to go back again

Our favourite place - especially the lentil soup and scones ;-). Hospitality is first class the staff are so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it and we will certainly be back.

Oh Wow what an amazing and friendly place. Popped in for the first time today and the food was out of this world and everyone was so nice and accommodating. We were so full after our club sandwiches that we ended up bringing our cake home. The Peppermill Bothy is definitely one not to miss. Fantastic work ladies and well done on your little diamond of a business.

Not what I expected at all, first time I've been in and what an absolutely stunning wee place. The decor is outstanding, service was great. I got my food to take away, it was boxed in tinfoil with grease proof paper and my beans in a separate little cup. Attention to details like this and the quality of the food has definitely made me a happy man today. Next time I might even have time to sit in and enjoy it more. Thank you ladies.

My family surprised me with an afternoon tea today and it was really lovely. Really friendly staff and great food. Thanks so much , we will definitely be back.

Lovely place soup and soda bread yummy and muffin and latte magic.Will defo be back and thoroughly recommend this wee gem

It was awesome! Super quirky, amazing cakes! Friendly and happy service. Got lost on the way there and arrived 5 mins before last orders and they were more than happy to serve us! Totally recommended and will totally be back for more milkshake that was epic.
