๐ This week is Green Week at Perth College UHI ๐
Join us outside the library on Thursday 27th, from 11.30-1.30pm, to donate and swap any textbooks that you no longer use. You will also have the opportunity to give your unwanted e-waste a new home! If you have IT equipment or mobile phones getting dusty at home, or work, donate them to the Perth WEEE Centre where they will be refurbished for reuse or recycled for parts.
Help us to use less energy and produce less waste! ๐

#successstory Kyle McGeoghie, a second year apprentice attending Perth College UHI on a Plumbing SVQ Level 3 Course, has been invited to compete in the UK SkillPLUMB Final in November after coming second in the Scottish heat of the competition in June. Only the top eight competitors from all of the UK Heats make it to the final. Kyle qualified in third place. This is the third time in six years that one of Perth College UHIโs Plumbing Students has qualified for the UK SkillPLUMB Final. Successful students in the UK SkillPLUMB Final event have the chance of being nominated for the 2019 World Skills competition in Kazan, Russia.
Congratulations, Kyle! https://goo.gl/3R74qc ๐๐ BPEC

Using the games hall. Staff couldn't have been more helpful
Perth college has been great! Nearing the end of my two years here and so glad I came. The lecturers have such a depth of knowledge to share and will do anything they can to help people. The support staff are the same. The student association is active and welcoming. The place is always clean and things run smoothly. Everyone from lecturers to caretakers work hard and it shows!
Perth College has changed my life. The staff are great not just the lecturing staff but all the support staff, caretakers and most importantly the canteen staff.

Hi peeps, Uni life is awesome.
Study hard
Play hard
Party hard.
But how will you afford all this?
I can show you how to utilise Social Media to earn $5,000 plus a week.
Why wait till you graduate and then hope that you will land a job at the end.
Baby boomers are working into their 70's.
Companies only want to hire people with experience.
Social Media. We are all on it everyday, so why not make some extra cash on the side. Who knows, by the time you graduate, you may not even have to get a 9-5 job.
PM me if you would like more details!!
Currently doing HNC Music Business, I like the place because I can receive all the support that I need. My tutors are always helpful.
Brilliant catering department probably the best in Scotland got all my city-Guilds there while doing 4 yrs training at the Green Park hotel in Pitlochry great days
An exceptional facility, fantastic supportive tutors. Had a great well organised graduation although it was very busy therefore tickets did go fast. Everyone was allocated a ticket allowance fairly!! Have studied here now for 4 years and the only thing that would improve my experience in the college would be more study space. Fantastic new sports centre, I don't know why people are not happy.
A great college full of friendly, supportive and enthusiastic students and staff. The facilities are some of the best offered anywhere in Scotland, and the equipment is well maintained and respected by students. I would highly recommend any of the courses on offer from the Food Studies and Hospitality Department!
The sports & gym facilities are top notch
Any chance of finding out when the graduation video will be ready? Just that a couple of members of my family couldn't come due to tickets selling out fast, so only my fiancรฉ and young daughter could come along. We were told not to take photos as a photographer will be present so stuck to the rules and didn't take pictures, however I wasn't in any of them so can't show those who were wanting to come along. Hoping the video can allow them to see my special day...
I spent four years at Perth College doing a Social Sciences degree. While the support from my department was brilliant all the way through, technical issues, poor resources and lack of any organisation within the College made those four years hell. To top it all off, graduation 2016 was a shambles. Poor information communication caused so many of us to lose the chance to have our loved ones at the ceremony while it appeared to be well attended by unnecessary guests. Complete and utter farce.
