User

enjoyed the performance. only thing I didn't like was that during the interval when doors were open, the smell of smoke was very stron.

User

Went to see the NYPBOS perform THUNDERSTRUCK..what a good night out.

Lovely reasonably priced coffee to warm us up in a spacious cafe then off to a comfortable seat in a lovely clean hall.

Fantastic music well presented and best off all sounded great. The acoustics were outstanding which added to the enjoyment of the performance.

Well done to all the musicians and the excellent sound technicians involved.

User

Went to see Brendan Cole, All Night Long on Monday. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon trip to Perth from Glasgow. Perth Concert Hall easy to find and found everyone to be very nice. We were upstairs in the balcony and enjoyed a good view. A similar atmosphere to the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow, very pleasant.

User

Very enjoyable evening. Great show and seats.

Didn't use bar however from previous experiences service and staff were very good.

User

This was our first time in the newly opened theatre. Didnt actually know it was opening day as we had booked for a birthday treat.

Seats were comfortable with adequate legroom. We were in row N however at far right. During show 2 characters were in the boxes at side of stage and due to overhang of upper floor you couldnt see them. You also couldnt see the signs being held up during the show due to the lights on our side but that wasnt major. As part of show words for singalong were lowered but we and others around could only see the bottom line. Again no big deal though.

Show wise was a really good production. 4 main stars of the show for us. Wishy washy and Widow Twanky were excellent with good timing and improv and Wishy had a really great voice. The genie was really good with a good strong voice and Abernazer was very talented too. Slightly disappointed that the two lead roles werent stronger.

Really good effects though like the washing machine and flying carpet.

I know this caused an issue earlier in the day and can understand why. There seemed to be too many explosions throughout the show. The smoke from these didnt really dispel at times and was pungent. At one point it really caught our throats and there were multiple people in audience coughing.

All simple teething issues id say. The new theatre was spacious and very nicely done. Entrance was good. Signage for toilets was slightly confusing as a few people followed signage to where there was only a gents and disabled toilet. Then was slightly ambiguous as to where ladies was.

Well done though Perth theatre. A great venue to enjoy the arts. I hope Edinburgh playhouse considers similar overhaul so you canenjoy performances without being crippled.

User

Myself, my husband and 9 year old daughter went to see Sophie Pacini on Sunday afternoon as part of Piano Sundays.. The hall was lovely, seats very comfortable and lighting excellent. Had nice coffee and cake at the cafe during the interval. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

User

Just been to see The To Eagle Huntress in the brand new Joan Knight Studio, a brilliant venue for films or smaller performances. The sound was excellent and comfy seats. I will be back again soon!!

User

I loved it, we sat in the balcony and had a fantastic view and the seats were very comfortable. The staff were lovely, I stay just outside Edinburgh and I would travel to Perth again as the sound and quality of the hall was fantastic. But the star was Nigel Kennedy he is a genius.

User

Hi we attended the relaxed performance of Aladdin today. I hadn't realised it was the relaxed performance until I got the email last week however we were still keen to attend.

We loved it. The performance was hilarious. The company had also thought about how to make the performance easier for people with additional support needs. I would recommend going to the panto to others. A lovely way to end the Christmas holidays. See you all next year xx

User

Had a great night such brilliant talent

music was fabulous each and every person singing gave it there all all in all a wonderful time had

User

Great venue acoustics are truly amazing and The Horsecross attracts some great artists.

One small criticism let's get the bar more efficient for staff and customers. Big events should sell wine in small bottles rather than time consuming measures.

User

Attended last night and it was fantastic would come to Perth again for a show. Cafe & bar both well priced and nice seating area when you come in. excellent night

User

A great experience, Nigel Kennedy was his usual brilliant self. Complimented by the venue, which provided great acoustics, comfortable seating a good view and easy to get too, with reasonably priced parking nearby. Staff were pleasant and very helpful. Great experience, highly recommend a visit, we will be back.

User

A bloomin' lovely venue to perform in! Thanks for having us last night. The perfect kick off to our tour of 'Peace Train- The Cat Stevens Story' - Cheers Perth! x

User

1st time at the new theatre for the panto and it was fab. Very helpful staff, seating was comfortable with plenty of room and the whole place was nice and clean. Only complaint is that there is no strap to secure baby on the changing table in the disabled toilet. Not very helpful if you need to go to the toilet yourself! Also not very safe for baby

User

Went to see Treacherous Orchestra with my partner. Staff were friendly and helpful, services were clearly marked, place was clean. Acoustics inside the hall were great and overall was a lovely experience

User

You can't take a drink into upper stalls. Management announced backing band starting, we then stopped queuing at bar without getting a drink (bar service was very very slow) to take seat, to then wait another twenty minutes before the band started.

User

Tried to book one of the theatre tours but they are sold out, will you be adding any more dates.

User

The reason I gave a 3 was the lack of height between the seating. I often take wheelchair users. Unless they have a very high chair it is difficult to see over the heads of people in the row in front.

The staff are always helpful. The food is usually very nice. Bar service can be a bit slow.
