It's a 3-4 star Italian style cafe with comfortable booths. Quick friendly service from the staff. We booked as we hadn't been able to get in the night before and we're only in Hamilton for 3 days. Me and my mum ordered the seniors special and my husband a large fish and chips. The senior special was coated in breadcrumbs and quite dense in texture however my husband's battered fish was lovely. The best chips I've had in ages and the ice cream was high quality and worthy of many medals. Good value all round.

We have not been to equi's restaurant in a long time so thought we would try it. We got the menu and my daughter wanted sausage supper so i asked the waitress but she said the don't do that in the restaurant which I find really strange when they do it in the front to take away and at there cambuslang restaurant weird. Anyway ordered minestrone soup fabulous then chicken Milanese which was very bland and too much pasta and not enough sauce would not get again. The sweet amazing and service.

Huge portions, wonderful food. Fish and chips are top class, and of course the famous ice cream is just divine. The place does get very busy, so service can be a bit rushed and you need to book in advance, but it's worth it.

Ice cream excellent.... fish chips poor very value for money... I've never ever had a "half slice of fish" classed as a single fish... also u only get quarter of pizza in a pizza crunch supper... over priced it's just Greed.

Great service. A bit expensive, but nice food. Good salad. Nice coffee and great ice cream

Pros: I ce cream heaven! I got a Hot Fudge Brownie and I couldn't finish it; it was huge! Great for a wee family treat,

Cons: quite expensive, and leave yourself plenty of time at the other end because you'll be sitting for ages waiting for the bill before. The other comments about the service being poor are spot on, but it could be because they don't seem have enough staff to adequately cover the place when it's full.

I think the food is disgusting and soggier than baby drull.
Will NEVER be back........

The ice cream has got to be the best ever with a great variety of flavours. And it's Chippy too.
