Must admit, reading some of these reviews left me a little dubious... but thought I would give them a try as some things people has viewed as awful, I couldn’t see they really justified the 1* reviews, but went in with open eyes just in case.



Yes, I had to give my name on a lanyard to enter the store, but in reality that’s actually nice customer service and what are they going to do with my name? Not a lot!



There was music playing, but it wasn’t too loud or annoying. The kids play area is handy too, along with the refreshments.



A member of staff (Craig) came to see me, which I expected being that I was in a car showroom looking for a car... I’m not sure why some people view this as a negative thing �



I was in no way pressurised to buy a car, but shown 2 within my price range. Over a few days I then communicated with Craig via email and phone and never had an issue getting a response from him. I put a small refundable deposit down and decided to come back for a test drive.



I booked a test drive, liked the car and went ahead with it. All went smoothly. Staff were all really nice and I never felt rushed or an inconvenience to them at any time.



Everything was dealt with efficiently, car was in excellent condition when I collected it. A couple of minor paperwork details needed changed at handover so that wasn’t perfect but overall a great experience from start to finish. The staff member at handover was really pleasant and patient while took a while to change my son’s car seat over etc.



Even once I had bought the car, I found I was struggling to get the Bluetooth set up so went back in a few hours later and someone came it to the car and set it all up for me. I didn’t take his name but he was really helpful and even explained afterwards how to do it so I could do it myself again at another time.



Since then, Craig has called to see how things are going, and so far they are going well. The car runs fine, and I’m happy.



Overall, not 100% perfect from start to finish but nothing that knocks any stars off a 5* review I would say. Will definitely use them again.

I visited the Carstore with a view to buying a Peugeot 2008. My boyfriend and I were quickly introduced to Mark Keracher who was a down to earth and easy to talk to sales guy who quickly ascertained what we were looking for. Mark did not impose a Salesman-like attitude and genuinely and actively listened to our needs/wants. The days of the pushy, brash salesmen are over and I’m so happy to see that Peter Vardy are in line with this idea. Mark found us the car we were looking for and managed to fit in with our budget- extras included! We drove away the following Monday very happy indeed! 10/10!

Bought a used car on the 21st of July and was advised the scratch on the bumper would be repaired for us to collect the following week, when we arrived the damage was still visible and we had to arrange to take the car back down to Dundee from Aberdeen at our expense for the repair. The body shop now has replaces the front bumper for us.

There was only one key available and we were advised they would order a new one for us to collect from the Aberdeen show room, to my disgust I found out the Dundee showroom only informed the Aberdeen garage to order the 2nd key today which is a month after we purchase the car. We also had to chase for the registrations documents and were advised they would consider providing free mats in the car for the inconvenience of renting the car for repair, this all did not come to fruition. Overall customer experience was not good at all.

Please avoid at all costs!! I was sold a faulty car in August (with far too many other issues and problems to mention) and have only just got my money back 6 months later. I had to take the issue to the Financial Ombudsman Service as Peter Vardy did absolutely nothing to deal with any of the issues as soon as the car had been sold to me, and took no responsibility for the state of the car. Their shocking customer service included the same manager speaking to me in a disgusting way on two separate occasions in front of my friends and family, leaving me in tears both times. I had to personally ask to be taken into a private room just to avoid the embarrassment. He told me repeatedly that I had no chance of getting any money back and that I’d need to just accept the car whether I liked it or not, well turns out he was wrong! Luckily I knew my consumer rights! Just an all around shocking experience from start to finish. Please, please avoid!!
