Worst car dealer in the world!!! promise a lot, do nothing. Cheating people. All good till you pay money. The troubles start.

First and last time. Took car there as horn not working, charged me £108 to look at it and tell me I would need a new horn and cable. This afternoon I looked and the cable was loose. Plugged it back in and its been working fine!!! - DONT GO THERE

Charged £500+ for new ignition barrel as technician found key inside barrel. So how come I found the broken bit of the key in the back of the car??? Apparently (according to the dodgy manager) I broke my spare key and presented it as the one I'd found (even though I said from the start I didn't have a spare key). Why would I go to the bother? Customer service is atrocious to say the least. ***update*** given full refund -speaks volumes

I have been coming to Peter Vardys for a few years now and think the staff are fantastic. I get a mobility car and Gavin always looks after me making sure I get the right car for my daughters needs. Highly recommend them.

Excellent. All the staff very friendly especially Daniel and Kirsten. Nothing was too much trouble and at all times looked after me and ensured i was getting the best deal and explained everything simply and no hard sell. Thank you.

Don't always return on line requests to phone. Don't always have the cars which they advertise and say they've been sold. On occasion their on line advertisement shows an erroneous price. When they are telephoned the sales advisor seems to speak from a prepared script which almost always ends with an invitation to visit the showroom. This is irritating.

Great salesman I cannot praise Danny enough he did more than look after us he got everything just right from start to finish great service can't praise Danny and Debbie enough thanks

Excellent service from start to finish. I had complete confidence in my salesman Kelson, who looked after me like a gentleman, and even took care of aspects of my purchase I failed to consider. 10/10 for customer service!

Why the 5 stars?

The whole Peter Vardy package from deciding to buy a car to driving away with my choosing car was a absolute pleasure.

Started on the Peter Vardy website looking for my new Corsa which was a good experience due to the well designed functional customer orientated search facility provided to search the vast choice Peter vardy has to offer. Once I found the car I used the Chat facility to make contact and arrange to come in to Peter Vardy Kirkcaldy. (Received a little video of the salesman who was going to deal with me introducing himself).

On arrival to Peter Vardy Kirkcaldy I was welcomed by a lovely member of staff how ask how she could help me. I told her I had an appointment and she took me to the customer seating area and offered some refreshments. The showroom is a very open, friendly, clean, modern environment which you feel comfortable and relaxed.

Was only sat for a few moments when the manager and Kenny came over and introduce themselves to me and explained the assistant who was going to meet me was busy with another customer. so no long hanging about waiting. excellent start.

I went with Kenny to a more private yet open and comfortable deck to discus what needed to be disused with no hard sale tactics. He listened to what I wanted and tried to deliver on that. we arranged a test drive of the Corsa and while getting the car around front we came to the dreaded discussion and evaluation of the trade in (my Astra Elite 2010) The price put forward was fair but a tad low however after some more discussion we agreed on a price that was acceptable to me so I was very happy.

The car was now ready for my test drive, the Corsa 1.4 Limited Edition which belonged to one of the manager as there was not a LE available on site. I felt this was great that a manager would give his car for a customer to drive. The test drive was not the usual around the block spin but around Kirkcaldy allowing me to drive the car on duel carriageways, main roads and small streets.

I had a monthly budget that I was not willing to go over, however no mater how hard they tried the monthly payment could not match my budget. The Pater Vardy team did try really hard to get down to my budget but we both agreed that this is not possible. I was going to look at the second hand cars at this point when I pointed out the Corsa Energy 1.4 (90ps) 3 door in the showroom. Back to the sums again and was in budget (no hard sale) I agreed and arranged the next step

Returned the following day(s) to sign the papers for the finance and met Debbie, who is one of the most lovely people you could ever meet. I felt welcome and relaxed again here in the showroom at the same desk. We had a chat while waiting on the paper work to be sorted (not the fault of Peter Vardy) so the time passed quickly. After all was signed we arranged a date to pick up my new Corsa which was only a few day away.

The day came to get my new car and I arrived early. By this time I came in spoke to the receptionist and proceeded to the waiting area while being greeted by the staff walking by. Seen Kenny who came over to say hello and a quick chat before dealing with another customer. Got a wave by others who were doing their work at their desks which was a great feeling as they remembered me from previous visits. This really make a customer feel good.

Debbie came over and handed me to Kirsten a member of the Handover team to sign some finale papers. while this was being done again we had a chat about anything that came to mind. Once all was done we went over to my brand new car.

To sum up I highly recommend Peter Vardy Kirkcaldy if you are looking for a friendly, comfortable, welcoming, fair no pressure sales technique atmosphere. I will be returning in a few years to buy from them again.

Bugged by several people one man in particular kept coming out and lingering offering coffee etc. I had previously made it clear I wasn't after a Vauxhall so was browsing their used cars to get an idea of prices..Offered to go inside to look on the system for the car I was after... no harm right? 1 HOUR 15 MINUTES later I've been made to sign an FSA form, had my car appraised and given a load of details that they pass on to 3rd parties to then be told they don't have that car in stock and were about to try and sell me a new Vauxhall.. Wasted a load of my time. Won't be returning! Shocking!
