Exceptionally good service and great food

Busy little chip shop and rightly so. Decently cooked chips and the usual chippy offerings should keep you happy. From the amount of orders arriving via internet while I was in they’d need an army of drivers so bear that in mind if you’re hungry!

Last 3 times I've ordered, took 50mins, then took an 75 mins, seriously Bad... Tonight it took 30mins, So I'm at the door looking pleased as punch and driver DOESN'T HAVE MY FULL DELIVERY...?? so HE PHONES THE SHOP AND ASKS SOMEONE ELSE TO BRING DOWN MY JUICE, AND TELLS ME HE IS GOING TO POLLOK.. SO HE REFUSED TO GO GET MY GINGER.. HIS EXACT WORDS WERE.. I WANT TO GET HOME, I FINISH AT 11, OCLOCK... THEN STANDS THERE AND TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR MY FULL ORDER EVEN THOUGH HE WON'T BE HERE TO CHECK IF IT EVEN GETS HERE....... WHAT A DISGRACEFUL WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS.. AND AS FOR DELIVERY.. I WOULDN'T BOTHER PEOPLE.... HONESTLY THE WORST DELIVERY SERVICE IN THE WORLD.......!!

Not the best quality fish used rather small portions and batter could be better .

I vacated the chip shop whilst visiting my friends daughter and on the way back from the local public house ' i went in for a bite too eat.

Place is nice but it's a hit or miss these days the quality has lowered and staff are not great

Waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for food when there was "4" drivers on disgrace !!

Don't know what everyone is moaning about. This is the best chip shop ever, we come miles for their meals,its brilliant taste exact same as when I was a kid. That taste never leaves your buds&I have never tasted any other chip shops as good or even comes close. Tried all over uk,isle white to Inverness,Cornwall,etc&including ones with the so called award the best chippie in uk. Lots with awards, York was the latest one and believe me non, zero,zilch,come close to this taste. The portions are excellent, normal battererd sausage supper here is classed as large&2large sausage,in england.. Be looking at £8 in Southend.and tastes disgusting and small portions, our local chippy OK but not same, £220large chips, ain't even large and £130 per battered sausage, so stop moaning. And no fish and chip deliveries, we travel 4-5 hours and delib detour, to come here, this is always our first pit stop, before we go anywhere else. 5hours nearly travelling for best suppers ever. Kids love it,so do I. Staff always been friendly&helpful&even let my middle son try battered haggis , without charge. Excellent place. Please don't ever change recipes or close the doors or sell. Please, we will be up in week or two,been along year waiting, for another yummy very filling full on half portion never happens anywhere, can't wait to eat best ever suppers.😊 thank u. 30-40years been coming here and always taste same the best ever!!!!!

Staff are very welcome and helpful great food

More staff behind the counter than customers. Don't no any basic customers services...like saying thank you and please.
They still keep you waiting even it's a bag of chips....and always bark " saltnvinigar".
The chips are real chippy chips...lovely.
Otherwise wouldn't really go back.

An hour and a half for delivery on a Sunday night. Called after an hour to be told "We're getting your order ready just now". Only order if you're not hungry.

Two hours for a delivery on a Tuesday evening, and not even an apology
