Took kids for small pet workshop, they loved holding the bunnies and guinea pigs and learning about them. Even got a sticker and certificate!!

I'm fuming!! My puppy got his second jag today, fair enough you get symptoms from it. But since I got him home he wouldn't let me pick him up as he was yelping really really loud he wasn't eating or drinking he was bringing up foam. So I phoned the vets asking for advice an I told them everything I've just said above an they told me to bring him in, when I got to the reception one of the girls that must of been on the phone to me said I was just talking to about you big drama queen you are. Like serious?!!! Why the F**k would I make up lies and waste my time to bring him down if there wasn't something wrong with him, so I went into the vets and the vet checked him over and was concerned about some stufff and gave me some pain relief etc to go home with, I came back out and the same girl said I take it there was nothing wrong with him and then said again to Ritchie "mummy's a big drama queen bringing you here"!!! Costumer services are dreadful!!!!

Been going here for 11 years now, and , on the plus side, vets always been very good. However, in recent times, reception staff have changed, and not so helpful. Also wish the vets didn't try to sell you stuff before you're over the door! Pricey too. and, although I am always careful to get a quote for treatment before going, I was shocked at my last visit because the bill was 50 pounds more than quoted! In the pat, the vet would phone first to see if they could add treatment on. As I am about to phone up to make an appointment for my dog,will make triply sure there will be no add on's.

So----I went back, and as feared, I felt I was being hled captive until I spend more money that I wanted too. As the dog has an ongoing complaint, she gets the same treatment all the time. I mad it clear I was on a budget, and informed him of the treatment she gets, and the costs, he none the less kept bringing out different products, and insisting I '(try) them! Four times I said no, this is what I'm spending, I do not want anything else.Now, here is the rub. I always get a 7 day supply of antibiotics. For the past 2 years the consultation and treatment came in at around the 60 pound mark--but he said he could only sell me three and a half days supply for that amount. He told dire tales of what would happen if I only used the reduced amount, but I could buy the other half for 15 quid---half the price of the first pack! when I questioned the amount,he said it had only went up 80 pence last year.! Well, bu my reckoning, if I had paid for the extra box, the l would have been nearly 15 pounds up on last year!
And ,by the way, you only got 3 stars as the site wouldn't let me write a review until I gave 3! It should read one.
