Pettycur Bay Caravan Park

Nice site clean and well maintained. Pool was quite expensive over £10 for an adult and a child never ate at the restaurant either as it was too pricey. Views are stunning a bit of a steep climb if you don't have a car.

Whilst the views were lovely and the restaurant was good with friendly staff the touring facilities were poor. Shower block was horrendous and dirty. Broken tiles, holes in the roof of the showers and a good few months build up of insects. I wouldnt go back as too expensive for extremely poor facilities

Outstanding view but pitches and facilitates are poor. Staff are also pretty disinterested.

Meals in club lovely, children's entertainment could be better! Also could benefit from larger play park and maybe free swimming for all the caravan owners. Would also benefit from regular owners meetings

Very bad attitude of the owner of campsite. Very arrogant and not pleasant at all. Came out of nowhere and caused a row for a silly thing that could have been sorted out in 2 minutes without any problems in a civilized way. Not nice at all. Other staff very pleasant. Get a feeling that noone likes the old man at all. Shame for a nice caravan site.

Stayed here with a touring caravan for 2 nights at the weekend ( 9/06 - 11/06 ) to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday, along with our family who had hired statics. Let me give you a list of negatives about this site :

1. On arrival there is no one to meet or greet you.
2. Most of the pitches are on a slope.
3. No lighting on the site.
4. Extremely tight pitches for maneuvering ( hope you have a mover installed ).
5. Showers are in need of " MAJOR " upgrade.
6. Out of sight from the main complex.
7. The area is absolutely covered in rabbit excrement ( we had to brush the grass before we could erect our awning ).
8. On serving our drinks before a meal on Saturday evening in the main restaurant the waiter spilled a full glass of wine over me at our table; therefore I had to go and get changed.

I have pitched up at many sites ; but this is definitely the worst.
Obviously we won't be using this site again.

Staff are very helpful. Function hall is great. Main Bar has singers at weekend.

Beautiful scenery. Good value of money. Best for family of 5. Every morning walking in the beach. We'lll come back here again.

Great for relaxing for the whole family.Caravan's are fantastic and newly refurbished.
