A child's Bowen session is very gentle. Many report finding it a pleasant, relaxing and calm experience. All therapy sessions are carried out through light clothing, whilst the parent/guardian remains in the room.
Many parents/carers have reported improvement in the symptoms of many childhood conditions and problems after their child has received Bowen Therapy. They have noticed better posture, balance, co-ordination and the ability to cope better with anxiety or the effects of trauma. Benefits may include:

Shirley was very kind to come all the way to Livingston to help some of the members of our local ME/CFS Charity. One lady is now reconsidering the surgery proposed by her medical team. After one treatment she no longer thinks she will need to go through with the surgery as the pain is no longer keeping her awake.

I have very swollen and sore joints due to a condition I have.

The treatment was very relaxing and gentle and I noticed an improvement after one session.

I dislike any heavy massage and this was exactly right for me and a bonus that one can remain clothed to some extent. I could have gone of to sleep at any point as I felt so relaxed and when the treatment was over there was an immediate improvement in my back which continued to improve over the next few days.
