This is a private water supply treatment package we recently setup for a customer that previously had no water treatment in place. After 20 years of using the untreated water for bathing and buying bottled water for drinking, they contacted us.
We installed a storage tank, booster pump, filters, UV steriliser, new pipe to the header tanks and completed a full system disinfection with post work samples for lab analysis to confirm the effectiveness of the works.

This was one of many buckets of sludge removed from a cold water storage tank before chemical cleaning. Sedimentation such as this can provide a nutrient source for bacteria.
If you have a cold water storage tank, it's essential to check it regularly and clean it before it gets to this stage.

We were contacted by a new customer that had confirmed Legionella bacteria within their system.
The site survey and all remedial works was completed by the PHX water team in under 52 hours from the initial call.
The sample results came back with no legionella detected which allowed the customer to open with minimal financial impact.

New year, new contract! We'll be providing the historic Scone Palace with our Legionella control package. With this package, PHX Water will manage the water system and complete all necessary maintenance at the correct frequency and following HSE guidance. We look forward to working with such an iconic site to maintain Legionella compliance.

We were contacted by a landlord that was having issues selling his house because there was high levels of E.Coli from their private water supply.
Shortly after, we fitted a new filter and serviced the UV steriliser before cleaning and disinfecting the storage tanks and pipework.
Now, the sample results are back from the lab (which have passed) the landlord can progress the sale of his house.

It's been a busy couple of weeks for PHX Water completing Legionella risk assessments, water tank cleaning, remedial works and private water supply improvements across a variety of commercial properties including hotels, care homes, golf courses, dental practices, laboratories and industrial sites like this propagation site in Tayside.
This site uses a well designed filtration and UV sterilisation package which continuosly re-ciculates the system to ensure that their Legionella risk is as low as possible.
