You may remember at the start of the year we announced that we had raised a massive £6,833.20 for When You Wish Upon A Star across all of our La Vita restaurants. We wanted to give you an update on exactly how important that is to the families that this amazing charity works with.
Below is a letter we received from When You Wish Upon a Star, with some extra special messages from the incredible families who benefited from their support this Christmas.
We couldn't have raised... such a fantastic amount for them without the support of our amazing customers and staff, so we want to thank you all for giving so generously and helping create such special memories for these children and their families.
We look forward to continuing our work with When You Wish Upon a Star in 2018!

We were in for my gran and papas 65th wedding anniversary, the food was amazing and can't wait to work through the menu, staff were Freinds and attentive don't be put off by other posts ��� best Italian around food is superb hats off to the chef's.

I had the pleasure of visiting your restaurant with my brother Robert and Karen a Moody, I live in South Africa and can say that it was one of the best restaurants for service and quality that. I have been in for a long time, so well done.

I come regularly with my son as it's his favourite restaurant. Service is always amazing and food is unbelievably tastey and never any longer than a 10 minute wait. I can't rate la vita piccolino high enough.

Had a lovely lunch today with friends really good food and staff couldn't be anymore helpful very tasty lunch meat balls were great was my 1st time there and I will certainly be back Grazie Mila

Great wee Italian restaurant, been a few times now and always lovely food, fast service and bustling lively ambiance. Would recommend a visit!

Good ambience, food, wine and service. My linguine with lobster was totally delish.



Only slight disappointment was the penne Arabbiatta - bit dry and not very spicy even tho asked for it to be 'molto piccante'.



Interesting wines including quite a good number available by the glass :-)

Fast service, friendly staff and beautiful food!! Would highly recommend � my wee boy was given a wee teddy bear on the way out also which put a big smile on his face � xx

Fantastic restaurant food is lovely service is great. I have been visiting this restaurant for years & it has the feeling and buzz of a proper Italian restaurant in Italy �I’ve visited sorrento,Capri and Florence and I swear this place give me a feeling I’m back in Italy due to traditional Italian waiters chefs etc.

Family meal last night was excellent! Staff could not have been friendlier. Special mention for Mario who was great fun! Can’t wait to go back!

As a family we enjoyed a lovely meal. Service was quick and efficient and the food was hot and tasty. Cost was reasonable we will go back.

Went for a Christmas party night which was actually a normal night with a so-so but very loud singer. Food was good but we were the last table at 10.30pm on a Friday just before Christmas! Disappointing given price, puts me off going back.

Had 2 courses finished in 24 mins ,table booked at 6 meal over by 6.24 ,was to rushed and hectic waiters kept squeezing by us ,area to tight ,first seat by kitchen area all noise from kitchen heard had to move seats did complain about being rushed manager not interested .

1st time at this restaurant on Monday 21/8... my friend had been before

The gentleman who we first met looked at his watch when we arrived making us recheck it was opened to 10pm ... it was mid afternoon ... we ordered some wine and sadly his manner didn't change , he was not very welcoming ...

The waitress was friendly and our food was good , the garlic bread lacked some garlic

Not all impressed, never been met by so many unpleasant and unfriendly people and to top it it all over charged by a bottle of Chianti at £25. It was a 50th birthday treat from my 13 year old son(by way of his Dad who is away) totally disappointing evening, even my son commented on the staff.....I will not be recommending or returning.... I am local and my son had always wanted to go... Food was ok!
