This post will be used as a reference:
Our stance on our exhausts at MOT:
We take no liability for any of our exhausts failing an MOT UNLESS it is due to leaks or otherwise that is covered under our lifetime warranty.
... The official stance by VOSA (As far as we are aware), is that no exhaust should be modified from standard unless it is replaced with a Type Approved part (OUR EXHAUSTS ARE NOT TYPE APPROVED)
We have and always will recommend you keep your stock exhaust parts should they need temporarily refitted for MOT testing.
In our opinion exhaust regulations are a very grey area, for example some systems can be "upgraded" from factory that can be extremely loud compared to the "non upgraded" stock version. This can literally be something as simple as not having the middle silencer. Why it isn't acceptable for us to remove the middle silencer at a far cheaper price than the dealership offers is beyond us. Some cars are offered with "optional upgraded rear exhausts" from the dealership, which in essence are either a back box delete or the internals bypassed to be straight through albeit with the box still in place.
Whether any of this is "legal" or MOT friendly is not our liability, it is the customers.
If you are thinking of getting a mod done to your exhaust (other than a DECAT, which clearly won't pass), we recommend speaking to your MOT tester in advance or KEEP STOCK PARTS.
We love building exhausts and I firmly believe that the amount of people in the country who want a louder exhaust are in the minority so in the grand scheme we're not really causing too much disruption to the rest of the population! But use common sense, if you've opted for a very loud option keep your original parts in case they need to go back on to satisfy your testers' interpretation of the exhaust requirements!
If Ferraris, TVR's Lamborghinis etc can drive around legally with a very loud exhaust "just because they are made that way" I don't see why we can't modify ours to enhance our driving experience just the same!
Drive safe, use common sense and speak to your tester if you're not sure what might happen at your yearly inspection!

Couple of classics that were in this week getting ready for Glamis 😀

Mental busy just now people, we have 2 people in office that more or less only manage the enquiries but they are coming in such a high volume we are still weeks behind with them! We are almost two weeks booked ahead so other than just sending a question mark when you don't get an instant reply I'd strongly recommend doing what the automated reply suggests and phoning up. Maybe get a bigger place with more office staff one day but in the meantime we'll have to do with we've got. Apologies for all the delays in replying to you all

Work is second to none. Car was in for a DPF back straight through. Ended up slightly louder than planned but they crammed me back in asap and got the exhaust absolutely spot on. Very accommodating, clearly spoke through each stage of the process and explained my options thoroughly. 2 hour drive to these guys for me but was well worth it! Would highly recommend �

Unbelievable service & an extremely professional company! Made to feel right at home and the boys don’t mind you watching which is a great attitude!

They fitted a B pipe to my honda Type R and did a quick and efficient job. Clearly know what theyre talking about and a good price too. Job completed quickly and I love the result.

These guy did an amazing job on my jaguar xfr sound is amazing, v8 has come out it's shell, great guys with great skills will return

Pipe Dynamics came highly recommended and I can see why. The service was superb; we had a good discussion about what I was after and they bent over backwards to accommodate my requests.

The catback system I had fitted is immaculate, the welding is spot on. I was given a choice of tips included in the price and the guys and their team were really friendly. Only took around 4 hours and I was nice and warm in the office playing on the Xbox they have for waiting customers.

Love the new exhaust, it's exactly what I was hoping for and looks and sounds perfect. Would highly recommend Pipe Dynamics to anyone!

I was in yesterday getting a downpipe back system fitted to my zafira gsi, I was after something standard looking but with a little bit louder roar to it and that's exactly what I got. The note I got from it going home was top notch. These guys ticked all the boxes for me.

I can’t thank these lads enough!! They made the exhaust for my Mercedes c63 amg to exactly the same spec as the supersprint exhaust system! It sounds amazing!! I later went back to get the primary cats removed. Perfect work as to be expected. I would highly recommend them and trust them with any car !! I’m now enjoying the blue flames �. Many thanks guys ��

Had my fiesta in today, all the guys are brand new and done a top job�love how it sounds!��

Exhaust magicians, pure magic, had my ST150 in to get a silencer fitted to me Cobra performance exhaust system as it was too loud and banging on the bottom of the car. I would definitely be back and recommend to a recommend to a friend :D

Easy to deal with, great price and (what it's all about!) what a sound from the Exhaust. Great at normal revs and then when VTEC comes in at 4,200 RPM it makes buildings shake, woman's underwear fall off, children cry and wild dogs run away :-)

Couldn’t recommend enough, from the very first phone call everyone was amazing there all very friendly and are all very happy to answer any questions that I had, the quality of the exhaust is also amazing and the welds are spot on. When I first phoned I never really knew what I wanted and just knew I wanted my car to sound better but everyone there were happy to give suggestions and push me in the right direction. Thanks again
