We are nearing the end of a busy and fun festive season here, now time for the big January clean up and Opie has been very keen to lend a hand (or paw) as usual! Spaces for 2019 are now filling up fast, we will continue to update our current availability on a daily basis both here and on our website.

Hoppy Christmas from all of us at The Retreat! All of the guests have been given their Christmas dinners and are happily tucking in!

We’ve been gearing up over the last few weeks for a busy and exciting Christmas here at The Retreat! We are looking to forward to welcoming many new fluffy faces here this year along with our lovely regulars. Our ‘meet & greet’ bunny Mr. Opie Popplesniff has been loving all of the recent attention and has been certainly earning his keep! Tristan has been busy making The Retreat look festive and has made an awesome window bunny Christmas scene, as well as illuminating the whole garden with lights and a tree! Here are some photos of The Christmas Retreat and some of our recent guests. Oh yes, one thing we have learned this week, rabbits are like people when it comes to sprouts, you either love them or hate them ! :)

Well that's another busy July behind us, August is also now fully booked here at the Retreat as is October until the 20th. Here is a selection of the beautiful pets we have looked after over the last few weeks enjoying our home grown veggies!

The past few weeks have brought us some beautiful sunny days here at The Retreat and we’ve been pulling out all the stops to keep our guests and residents cool in the heat. We have welcomed both regulars and a whole host of new faces here for their Summer holidays – here are a few of their holiday snaps!

What a fantastic place run by two lovely people, Tristan & Hannah. Our wee hamster Davie has just stayed for a week and I don't think he was too fussed about coming home as he had such a great time there! It was like a 6 star+ hotel. Tristan sent us some wonderful photos while we were away. Thank you both.

We could not recommend Pitlessie Rabbit Retreat enough. Tristan and Hannah do an excellent job caring for your rabbits whilst you are away and send you an update on how the rabbits are settling in and include pictures as well. They are very accommodating, and reply quickly to any queries you may have. It is genuinely a wee holiday for the rabbits and we will definitely be bringing our little guys back when we need to go away. A massive thank you again to Tristan and Hannah for everything, the work you guys do is amazing :)

Thank you so much for caring for my guinea pigs recently. They were certainly well cared for. See you in July. Highly recommended.

Our two rabbits stayed here for a week when we went on holiday this month. First class accomodation for them, sure they didn't want to leave! Amazing set up and all very professional. We received lots of pictures updating us of how they were getting on which was lovely, and so accomodating when our plane was delayed coming back. Will be using them again for our two week holiday to Canada later this year and will continue to use them into the future. Really great place couldn't recommend enough!

My two buns stayed here for two weeks and it was a great service from start to finish. The owners had no issue letting me visit the place in the months beforehand, they've got an amazing setup. They are very friendly, flexible with pick up and drop off times. It was a heatwave while I was away and they went to great effort to keep all the bunnies cool. Amazing place �

It's unfortunate that Facebook only gives you the option to give 5 stars as I would easily give Pitlessie Rabbit Retreat 10+ stars! Hannah and Tristan are fantastic, they keep you updated regularly and spoil the bunnies ��

The facilities are fabulous and offer your bunnies everything they need and more. My two were sad to leave, so much so they tried to eat through they're carry bag! Lol

I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to give their small fur babies a holiday to remember! ��

Leonard and Sheldon will definitely be visiting again in the very near future (if you'll have them �)

I cannot thank Tristan and Hannah enough for looking after my guinea pigs when I was away. An excellent holiday home where they are fed, sheltered and loved like a second home. I will definitely be using their services again �

First class service for bunnies! My rabbits were extremely well cared for. The housing and exercise set-ups are fantastic, fresh veggies and herbs are grown on site and Tristan took on the unenviable task of administering the twice daily meds that one of my rabbits currently requires! Highly recommend Pitlessie rabbit retreat. Loved getting a tour at pick up and meeting all the other bunnies! Thanks guys �

Really glad we found this gem, which instantly won our daughter's seal of approval. Our piggies were well looked after, accommodation was spotless and lots of fresh veggies. Owners quick to respond to any queries and sent photos during our trip.

Beatrix and Cooper spent a wonderful week at Pitlessie Rabbit Retreat. It was their first time at Pitlessie, as soon as we dropped them off we knew that we'd made the right choice - Tristan showed us around whilst the buns settled in and introduced us to all the other rabbits.

We collected a contented and well cared for pair of bunnies at the end of our holiday.

Pitlessie Rabbit Retreat is brilliant!

Absolute gem of a place couldn't rate it any higher!

I came across Pitlessie Rabbit retreat totally by chance. Tristan and Hannah run a very organised set up and upon phoning to enquire about availability I was sent a booking form and information pack. Documentation on vaccinations is also required which is always reassuring! My rabbit, Peter, spent 2 nights here and has come back in top form. Photos of the retreat do not do it justice- the time and effort that Tristan and Hannah have put in to securing the area and making a super hopping environment is amazing. Peter stayed in a huge outdoor multi-level run (Tristan has handmade all the runs) with a ramp up to a cosy enclosed snug. He also had the option to move to an indoor heated shed should the weather turn too cold. When we arrived his outdoor run was freshly laid with sawdust, all the hay he could ever want, tunnels and a dish of fresh veg. During the following day Tristan was doing some work in the large enclosed rabbit area (in which all the outdoor runs are located) and Peter was given free roam to hop to his hearts content and lots of ear/head scratches which he loves. Tristan and Hannah have their own rabbits living in the area and Peter made some pals- he had never met other rabbits before this! I also received an email updating me on how Peter was getting on during his hoppaday along with loads of amazing photos- almost a bunny photo shoot! I am so amazed by this special little place and am so glad I found it- Peter will hopefully be returning for his next longer holiday in April. Anyone who is looking for somewhere to entrust their precious pet for a holiday should look no further. Many thanks Tristan and Hannah!

A massive thank you to Tristan and Hannah, they very kindly took care of Blue at such short notice once they were already full, I cannot thank you enough!!



After frantically searching for rabbit 'kennels' after my original plan fell through, I came across the Rabbit Retreat Pitlessie, after a few messages back and forth, I dropped Blue off on Wednesday night. Tristan greeted me and my mum, and showed us around the retreat. This is not an exaggeration, THIS PLACE IS AN OASIS OF TRANQUILITY AND FUN for rabbits and guinea pigs. I could not have imagined a more glorious place to leave my rabbit. The entire retreat is wonderfully clean, tidy, and uniform. Every animal has masses of space to move around, with outside and covered areas. Tristan knew every single animal by name which was impeccable and showed his true commitment to the individuals needs. The garden was designed in sections for the enclosures, and then 'The Hop Zone'. This is where each bunny got time to hop about to their hearts content!!



Tristan and Hannah catered to Blue's fairly specific needs with no hassle at all, this made me so happy as I knew she would be safe and well!



I honestly can't emphasise enough how fantastic Tristan and Hannah are and what a beautiful Retreat they have created! This is the highest quality animal accommodation I have ever seen. I would recommend the Rabbit Retreat to anyone and everyone!
