Pitlochry Boating Station

This is such a beautiful friendly spot to stop for coffee or food and then feed the birds afterwards. Highly recommend it. They are closed on a Tuesday. We visit it every day when we stay in Pitlochry and are always made very welcome. Janice from Stonehaven

Lovely setting and carrot cake but not friendly.. Coffee a. Bit weak

Visited today as 2 young families. Staff were willing to advise and accomodate our boating and fishing requirements. Able to row around the loch and appreciate the stunning view. And kids could explore the shoreline as adults bank fished. Food and drink was ok but a little overpriced. facilities were clean. Worth a visit if you are in the area. NB. They didnt have card payment facilities, and with deposits and hire costs and pricey food you need to bring a lot of cash.

Beautiful scenery and good place to walk dogs. Nice food

While the cafe prepared some lovely sandwiches to take away for our walk, the 'gentleman' serving was very rude. My party had been waiting for about 30 minutes and saw several people come and go with food, but when I enquired about when my order would be ready I was told in a loud and rude manner that there were several others before me and it was not Mcdonalds!! If he was a Campbell or a Stewart there was no need to take it out on his customers! Had I not already paid I would have left without the sandwiches.
