Our son has additional needs so trying to eat out in restaurants can be challenging. Off the top of my head I think Pizza Hut cause it’s a little quieter than some other places and we won’t be waiting long. So the minute we walked in the door the staff were amazing!! She let Lewis pick where he wanted to sit (this is important to him) she gave him drawing things and engaged in conversation with him amazingly!! We were so looked after by all the staff! Definitely will be returning again soon!!

Fantastic service from the Manager Rab. Went the extra mile and asked what type of Pizza I would like on the buffet.

User

Excellent service -waiter (black hair young and tanned girl) was very friendly and welcoming - made us feel welcome and always smiling - dont know her name but credit to her as she is a credit to pizza hut- well done -enjoyable time throughout my stay

User

Went there today, having never been to the outlet mall, which is awesome! This place, however, is very much a let down. Waited 35 minutes for food, hubby went to ask where our food was, as 3 tables had come in after us and been served. Advised by manager (young lady with blonde hair - which should be tightly tied back when working with food - but heyho) that as one of the pizzas was a gluten free, it had been organised but the other 2 and the sides to go with the order had not, hence the delay.

Waited another 10 minutes and Gavin M (As detailed on receipt) approached the table to extend his apologies for the delay and to advise that our food would be with us shortly. And so it was.

Thank God for small mercies!

Yes, it's "only" pizza hut and yes, it's Saturday and therefore quite busy, but not packed out. But the place needs a serious kick up the bum!

As mentioned previously by others, the floors were dirty, I can't comment on the salad bar as I didn't have any, the toilets weren't too clean and there was water & loo roll on the floor to avoid. Many of the staff just look either bored terribly fed up with their lot.(Having worked as a waitress I can totally understand as it's a thankless task)but many don't interact with the customers, the girl that seated us only spoke to confirm the number of people for our table, saw us seated, then handed us menus and walked away!

I'm not asking to be entertained, but a wee bit of conversation or friendly banter goes a long way!

They also have a person in the kitchen that feels it's necessary to shout - you can hear him more whilst at the salad bar my hubby said. But we mentioned our concerns to the manager and she was very kind to take a discretionary amount from the bill for our 40+ minute wait.

That's why I have given 3 stars.

So, to recap -

Staff training = required

Serious cleaning = required

Shouty man to shut up = required

Faster service = required

Gavin M to be praised for his customer service skills = required

Thanks but don't think we will be back.

User

Great service. Chips didn't taste good and you could use a knife to cut the chicken flatbed

User

Went today and had the buffet, plates weren't washed properly advised staff and they were unconcerned pizza had hardly anything on them , pasta was hard won't be back

User

Horrible service, waited 15 minutes just to be seen to and over 30 minutes just to get our food, that's no take away service, multiple people walked straight by me and my friends as if we weren't even there.

User

Went there for a fathers day treat, had to wait to be seated, and then had a bit of wait for the food to come. I only ordered a black coffee yet all the food was out before my coffee, so as much to say the service wad pretty bad.

We took my 9 year old out for dinner last night, from the minute we arrived it was a disaster! Young guy serving us mutter 2 words the whole time. We order our food and we're told to help ourselves to self service drinks, which are located right outside the bathrooms. The stench of urine in that area was so strong I thought I was going to be sick. The self service salad bar was disgusting, the bowls were dirty and the salad stuff looked like it had been sat there forever. After a while our food arrived, or some of it. Our pizzas arrived before our starters, and without the accompanying sides. The pizza was missing toppings as described in the menu and the pizza base wasn't cooked through, some of it was still cold and doughy. No-one checked in to make sure everything was ok so I had to ask for our starters as it didn't seem like they'd be arriving. The starters and sides finally arrived and they were disgusting, chicken bites covered in grease and garlic bread minus the garlic. After complaining about the pizza the guy came back and asked if we'd like our bill - before we'd been given the desserts we'd paid for! Finally got our cookie dough dessert - cookie dough with ice cream and chocolate sauce, however the spoons we were given were covered in caramel?! I had to then go and find someone to give us clean cutlery.

All in all it's hard to decide what was worse, the food or the service!

Strangely enough on returning home everyone who went for dinner is now sick. We won't be back there again and will be telling everyone else we know to avoid it!

Still sitting in restaurant, took ages to be served, actually had to go and speak to someone and even then it took them another 5 minutes to take our order.... Girl who took it couldn't understand what we were asking for... When our meal arrived and we asked for dips to accompany our wedges and chips, she went away to get them... We are still waiting on them... Sorry to say, we won't be using this company again. Shocking service, only reason I gave a one, was the free salad bar.

I'm rating this poor as far as the service is concerned. My husband visited here with 2 of my grandsons yesterday, at lunchtime. Apparently you an unlimited lunch buffet at £7.50 for an adult and £4.49 for a child. No one took the trouble to explain this to my husband (a pensioner). Even although the 3 pizzas that he ordered were actually on your lunchtime menu he was charged over £49 for the 3 pizzas plus drinks! They enjoyed the pizzas which were very good, however it will be a cold day in hell before any of us return there given that the whole bill for pizza could have been under £20.

I don’t know where to start...this has got to be the worst and most under performing Pizza Hut restaurant I have ever been to. On arrival we waited longer than you would expect to be seated, with staff clearly choosing to carry out other tasks than attend to us and the queue forming behind us. When we were finally seated, we were put beside an unclean table and floor area from previous customers. We waited about 10-15 minutes for our order to be taken, while there were clearly staff talking and conversing rather than taking care of customers or the 9 uncleaned tables in our close vicinity. The lack of attention to these dirty tables was so bad that one had a card payment machine sitting on it unattended for the 40-45 minutes we were in the restaurant. After waiting for 30 minutes on a starter and most likely seeing it being served to a table who came in after us, and ordered after us, we decided the environment and service was so infuriating that we would be better to walk out than stay for what would undoubtedly be a terribly serviced meal. Seeing customers waiting 15 minutes plus at their tables to pay, should have been an indication of the general service delays.

An absolutely terrible experience...unclean tables, dirty floors, untidy drinks and salad areas, and some staff that clearly were unwilling to work to rectify these issues. The staff who were actually working need praised for trying to run the restaurant on their own.

If this was an independent restaurant, it simply would not last.

I implore regional management to intervene as this is a horrifically organised Pizza Hut that will undoubtedly put customers off the entire chain.

Had been having a lovely wee day until i paid Pizza Hut Livingston a visit where they couldn't cope with 4 adults and 5 children saying they didn't have enough staff. Absolute shambles and said we should phone ahead, eh how can we phone ahead when we weren't sure where we would be eating till we came out the golf

Safe to say went done in my estimates so much

User

Came in today waiting ages to be seated once we were seated waitress handed us menu and walks away didn't take drink order after ten mins of waiting to be seen we got up and left disgraceful way to be treated never be back again
