Went here after seeing a deal on 5pm. We were just looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite before going out on Saturday night. We didn't know anything about the restaurant so we didn't know what to expect.



Well it was fantastic, the food was amazing. Really really good. Friendly staff, great service. We will definitely be coming back.

I've not been to po-boyz but quite fancy it because I'm a chef and worked for 4years in neworleans and I have Cajun themed food trucks!you seem to have a great rep apart from when using deliveroos!lose them and keep your good name what are you doing!!!

We had the bacon chilli bombers and the catfish bites (sorry no pics as scoffed them)to start and both were fantastic. The catfish bites were definitely my favourite out the two.

We then had the Macaroni n chips. Best chips I've had in a very long time and I don't really like chips at all. Overall a really nice place to eat with great food and reasonable prices

Was here yesterday with my friend and her 1 year old boy the staff where great with him as he was making a mess of the place they were friendly and patient and the food was really nice big portions will definitely be back soon well worth a try guys!

The food is fantastic and fairly unique in Glasgow. Southern US style home cooking and really tasty. Particularly recommend the burger and also the mac n cheese. Friendly staff and byob at the moment. A real bonus for the area.



One criticism which is easily rectified. Please please change the horrible cool white led down lights to warm white equivalent - you can get them in ikea for two for a fiver for the nondimmable ones or a fiver each for the dimmable ones. It would go a huge way to improving the atmosphere and I think the place would be mobbed. The reason that I usually opt for takeaways is that the cool white lights make for a very sterile atmosphere. My wife also concurs.

Start off with the positives. Great wee find and exceptional value for money. My steak was perfect with the hand cut chips and salad. The cat fish and other battered dishes such as chicken tenders, fried shrimp were not the best. Fish itself was lovely but the batter was very greasy and the oil needed changed. We ordered starters and mains but the kids only had a main. We were asked did we want the kids mains with the starters and we said yes. We ended up getting our meals with no starters placed in front of us and then when we said we got the starters along with the mains. Not ideal. We were offered a free round of drinks for the inconvenience but ended up paying for them in the bill. Wouldn't stop me going back as everyone has off days and my steak was amazing
