Poise Physiotherapy Description

Since then she has worked in a variety of settings including musculoskeletal outpatients, orthopaedics, care of the elderly, acute medicine and the community. Poise Physiotherapy provides specialist assessment and treatment for people suffering from problems related to obstetrics, gynaecology, urology, colorectal and sexual health. Pelvic health is often a difficult and embarrassing subject for people to talk about and a lot of women believe that it is a normal part of the birthing or ageing processes. Many women are not aware that help is available, but with the correct assessment and individualised treatment programme physiotherapy can alleviate many of the symptoms experienced.
Likewise, pelvic girdle dysfunction and back pain are common problems experienced in pregnancy but with the correct diagnosis, treatment programme and self management strategies, symptoms can be greatly improved or resolved.
