A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US:
Pole Fitnesse combines the benefits you expect from the gym with a fun and flirty workout experience. The name says it all … fitness infused with finesse! Master the mesmerizing art of pole dancing whilst experiencing a rigorous workout with all over body toning. Whether for fitness, fun or both, Pole Fitnesse is the perfect place to work up a sexy sweat whilst feeling good about you.

Our pole lessons have been designed with all in mind – any age, size, shape, fitness level or aim. Our qualified pole instructors are professional, fully insured and love what they do. We’re here to coach and encourage you through each lesson and to make it challenging but ultimately fun!

Nicola Hanley is Pole Fitnesse’s Owner, Director and Head Instructor and she has over 8 years of pole experience. Nicola is a Pole Dance Community 3 star approved instructor and has completed XPERT pole fitness and XPERT train the trainer courses and the Flexibility Academy training. Nicola is proud to be Scotland's X-Pole representative and is the creator and co-lead of Scottish Pole Dancers, a pole community for pole dancers in Scotland.

LESSONS, TIMETABLE AND PRICES:
We offer group pole dance lessons, individual or group private tuition and pole party packages. Our group pole dance lessons are female only and for over 18s (Men interested in individual pole lessons should get in touch). We limit these classes to 8 students with 2 maximum per pole. We use industry leading 45mm chrome Xpert X-Poles in our lessons which are over 3m tall.

Our group lesson timetable and pricing will be re-confirmed upon securing a new venue.

Loyalty discounts are available to students who have attended at least 8 regular lessons (at our discretion). Loyalty deal students get their first lesson per week at normal price and any consecutive per week at a discounted price.

- Our Absolute Beginner lessons are a set level for those new to pole with moves designed to introduce you to pole dancing moves and techniques whilst building your strength, flexibility and endurance. Lessons include a warm-up and cool down.
- Our Beginner to Intermediate lessons comprise of set levels with each individual training to their own personal pole goals. You must have completed Absolute Beginner level to attend. Lessons include a warm-up and cool down.
- Our Intermediate to Advanced lessons comprise of set levels with each individual training to their own personal pole goals. You must have completed Beginner to Intermediate levels to attend. Lessons include a warm-up and cool down.
- Mixed Pole is supervised free format training with minimal instruction. You must have completed at least Absolute Beginner level or have been to another pole school to attend (please discuss your experience with us).

Our group lessons are all drop-in for your convenience this means no tie-in to block bookings and no classes owed or lost! You train as much or as little as you like. We do however advise booking and paying in advance to reserve your space. For Absolute Beginner lessons, we recommend attending at least 1 lesson per week and at least 4 weeks consecutively. Payment can be made in person before the lesson starts or by bank transfer in advance.

A FEW LITTLE FAQs:
- What to wear: we recommend shorts and a vest top but you can also wear leggings or a skirt over shorts for Absolute Beginners level. Pole relies on skin contact so the legs being bare will assist you in achieving certain moves. You can bring extra layers for our warm up and we ask for bare feet or trainers for this section. Heels are welcome and in fact encouraged for the rest of your class, although we’ll remove these for our cool down. Nicola also loves legwarmers but these are not mandatory!
- What not to bring: jewellery or freshly moisturised /oiled /fake-tanned skin (allow at the very least 24 hours).
- I have queries as I’m nervous or unsure: please get in touch and we will aim to put your mind at ease. We are more than happy to answer any queries no matter how big or small.

BORING BUT IMPORTANT – CANCELLATIONS AND TERMS:
- We kindly ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your place. Anything less and you won’t receive a refund of any payment /payment will be due before your next booking.
- Please try to arrive on time. If you miss the warm-up then we cannot allow you on the pole which I’m sure you can understand. If you are unfortunately too late, you won’t receive a refund of any payment /payment will be due before your next booking.
- Please do not come to your lesson under the influence of alcohol or drugs. You will be politely asked to leave and you won’t receive a refund of any payment /payment will be due before your next booking.
- You will be asked to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire prior to your first lesson but it is important that you tell us of any changes to your health or of any new injuries before booking and before the start of each lesson.
- Lessons are for over 18s and we unfortunately cannot instruct pregnant ladies. If you have recently had a baba please let us know prior to booking.
