Our children enjoyed digging and planting learning all about nature and care 🌺

We went on an adventure in our country park. We had to climb over sand dunes and then log piles! We collected some items along the way to find out if they would sink or float when we got to the river. On the way back we learned how to balance by walking along the big tree log 🌳

The children have been playing various musical instruments to different types of music. They have been very quiet, very loud, marching around and dancing. They have really enjoyed expressing themselves through music.

Our Bumble Bees went on an adventure to check on our bug hotel. Firstly they made it past the lions and tigers in the long grass. Then they used their balancing skills to walk along the huge dinosaur, tree trunks. Next they climbed the huge stone mountains. Lastly was the shadow people. When we got to the bug hotel we found worms, slaters, spiders and Ladybirds.

Everyone meet our new addition to our ever growing family ‘Kemmet’ 🐻

Some of our boys today gaining physical learning through water play, such as eye-hand coordination, social awareness and many other skills. When children pick up sticks and stones, buckets or other objects filled with water, they also build muscle strength. 🌳💦

Story time outdoors this morning 🌳

Water play introduces scientific concepts such as sinking, floating, and changes of state (e.g. dry to wet) 💦🌳

Today we went to see all the bugs residing in our bug hotel! We identified lots of bugs and insects 🐛🌳

The Ladybirds and Squirrels have been learning about insects and where they live. The children have made there very own bug hotel. The children splashed, raced through and laughed and giggled whilst playing in the puddles.

We hope that all our Dad's have a fantastic day.

It has been a very windy day in the country park today. The children found playing in the wind very exciting.

Our T-Rex went exploring and got lost. The children had to follow footprints and clues to reunite him with his friends 🦖
