Our children very much enjoy playing with our paw patrol toys. However, we just don't have enough characters to go around. If anyone has any spare paw patrol figures/vehicles or playsets their little ones have outgrown, please consider donating them to Polmont Playgroup. We would all be very grateful. Thanks very much.

Snack and craft for this week

Huge thanks to Wilson William's and sons, potato merchants in Polmont, for donating money to Playgroup to buy seeds for our vegetable pots. We carefully prepared the soil before planting our seeds and have watered them every day ( when it's not been raining!) We're looking forward to watching them grow 😊

Thank you to everyone who attended our enrolment sessions this week, we look forward to welcoming you and your child to Polmont Playgroup next term. If your child is due to start in August or September please keep an eye out for an email ( remember to check spam folders!) in the coming weeks with information regarding your child's start date. If anyone couldn't make it this week and still wishes to enrol their child you are welcome to pop in any morning and pick up a form. Re...member 1. Children who attend nursery in the afternoon are still welcome to attend Playgroup in the mornings. 2. We take children up to 4 years old, including those who are in their preschool year. 3. Children start as soon as they are 2 years 6 months old (spaces permitting) and not at the start of each term 4. Children do not need to live in the area to attend Playgroup.

Our last day of the summer will be Thursday 27th June (we will be CLOSED on Friday 28th!) and we will reopen again on Wednesday 21st August. Our last week will be our fun week with a ball pit, bouncy castle and beach party! Can't wait ...👏👏👏🌞🌞

Remember it is our enrolment week this week. Please share our poster and help spread the word. Current attendees do not need to re-enrol however please let staff know if you would like extra days.

Snack for next week

Playgroup Committee Meeting Tomorrow Tuesday 14th May 7.30 Everyone is welcome to come along, have a cup of tea and find out a bit more about playgroup. Joining the committee is optional and you would still be welcome at the meetings without joining.

Registration for next session will be on Tuesday 28th and Thursday 30th May between 12pm and 1pm.
Come along and enrol your child for starting after summer. Children can start as soon as they are 2 years and 6 months old and do not need to wait for a new term to begin.
Please remember children are welcome to attend playgroup even if they attend nursery in the afternoons. Children can be enrolled from 2 years old to be added to the waiting list.

Small error in our snack menu for Friday. We're not having any cos we're closed! 😂 (Bank holiday weekend so we're closed Friday 3rd and Monday 6th ! )

We have some good news and some bad news! The bad news is ...scene of crimes are so busy they didn't manage to get to us today 😞 the good news however is your amazing playgroup staff have been working flat out today (even though we've been here since 6.15 am!! To get a temporary playgroup set up in the big hall at the other end of the building 👏👏 to allow us to operate tomorrow. Fees will be adjusted for those who should have been attending today. Please enter via the door at the Aldi end of the building if you are attending tomorrow. Thank you

Playgroup will be CLOSED today. Unfortunately the centre was broken into again last night and the police have asked us not to open to allow scene of crime to take evidence. Although there has been some damage to the centre nothing was taken from Playgroup as NO money is now kept in the office. Staff will spend today clearing up once we are allowed and we should be open tomorrow.

Now the weather is getting better, albeit temporarily 🙄 please remember on sunny days to put sun cream on your child before they come to playgroup. 🌞

A huge thank you to our committee member Joanne for organising and running our charity Bingo night which raised just over £1500! Since we will be using the money to buy new equipment for our outside play area the children wanted to show their gratitude!
