We are super proud of our Nicki who has achieved her GP certificate in Feline Practice after months of hard work, case studies and a gruelling exam! She’s going to need a bigger name badge to fit all her extra letters in! Well done Nicki ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We are saying Hasta la vista to Jenna today -it’s her last day before ‘bump’ arrives. We are looking forward to meeting the new arrival. Don’t worry though.....she’ll be back!!

***UPDATE*** Sadly despite giving emergency treatment the Guinea Pig has died of her injuries. We believe she may have been attacked by a fox or other animal. We are still on the look out for her owners though so please keep sharing.
FOUND - GUINEA PIG We’ve had an injured Guinea Pig handed in to us this morning from the Polmont area. Female, black and white. Please share this. If you or anyone you know has lost one please contact us 01324717262. Thanks

We will sadly be saying Bon Voyage to our Angela who leaves us for pastures new tomorrow, we wish her all the best (she may be popping back to do some acupuncture clinics from time to time but this has to be confirmed). We’d like to welcome Heather Nicholls who has joined us. Heather graduated in 2012 and will be with us part-time to start with then will be full-time from July. It’s all go here! 🐾🐾

Nicki’s stealthy cat trying to reach for the Dreamies without anyone noticing 😂

Well it looks like the weekend is to be a bit of a wash out ☔️☔️. Why not get the kids to make a Rabbit Treat Bag. Get them to break up bits of veg, sprinkle some kibble in and stuff full of hay. Perhaps it will keep the kids amused for an hour and will give your rabbit an unexpected treat. 🐰🐰🐰

Rabbits are happiest and healthiest when they have a mate to live with. They are not solitary animals and don’t enjoy being on their own. For more information visit www.rabbitawarenessweek.co.uk 🐰🐰

Rabbits are vaccinated against Myxomatosis, Viral Haemorrhagic Disease strains 1 and 2. VHD2 is a new variant of the VHD1 virus which causes internal bleeding. There is no specific treatment for VHD2, only supportive care. Find out more by visiting www.rabbitawarenessweek.co.uk 🐰

This is one of the main reasons that hay is such an important element to their diets as this is what keeps their teeth healthy. 🐰 www.rabbitawarenessweek.co.uk

Going on holiday soon? Please give reception a call on 01324 717262 and let us know what arrangements you have made for looking after your pet and who your authorised carer is, whether that is kennels or an individual. 😎😎

Missy visited us recently because she was vomiting and very unwell. She was admitted for IV fluids and an abdominal X-ray, which showed a strange looking item stuck in her intestines. An exploratory laparotomy was performed and we retrieved the head of a plastic spatula! We can only assume had something tasty on it before it was swallowed up! Missy was back in for her check up and is on the mend now! 😊🐾
