Popdance Active and able is a dance class designed for children and adults with disabilities, teaching fun and enjoyable routines to ‘pop’ music.
Popdance Active And Able Description
Popdance is available to people of all ages and abilities - Popdance Active and Able focuses on those that need a little extra care. Active and Able is a fantastic dance class that helps build confidence and social skills whilst learning to dance to all your favourite “Pop” songs. The class will improve mobility, coordination, timing, balance, flexibility and strength when attending regularly.
The classes are specially choreographed routines to music that everyone loves with no pressure to get the steps exactly right. The emphasis is on fun and enjoyment.
We have some fantastic warm ups to some great tracks, a really fun “descriptive moves” section where the class can dance in groups or in pairs and learn the moves and then we work on a dance routine over 4-5 weeks ensuring everyone has the chance to learn them before changing to a new one. With music ranging from Rihanna to Justin Bieber, Kylie to Lady Gaga and Beyonce to Wham – there is something for everyone.
