Lovely modern place to take the kids for a swim. Nice cafe. Outdoor heated pool.

We have just had the most amazing few days here ..... we were lucky with good weather ... so relaxing .... fun for children .... fresh air ... swimming outdoors in warm pool with unbelievable views .... homemade pizzas and homemade chips that were delicious and the best fish and chips I have ever tasted in the lodge ....... amazing cuisine in the restaurant too ! ..... this place is a must if you have never been ..... you feel totally refreshed and recharged ...... it's delightful ..... a day at the spa here and you won't want to go home

We spent a night in the marina here and it was very pleasent. Excellent toilets and showers. The restaurant does great cake and the pools at the spa were a nice way to relax while enjoying the scenery. The WiFi was poor both at the restaurant area and on the pontoons. I'd recommend Portavadie for a nice quiet weekend away whether you arrive on your own boat or not.

Visited portavadide with my partner while on a road trip to Scotland. We used the ferry crossing it's one of the most beautiful places I have been. While on the ferry you can see the dolphins. Would recommend visiting

Really nice location and facilities. If you have the option of taking the ferry over to Portavadie I would. The drive down the B8000 is slow! Lovely marina and the spa / swimming pool is brilliant. Nice walks in the forest and surrounding areas as well.
