The Rescue Team is located in the village of Portpatrick in South West Scotland, and is comprised of volunteers who are on standby 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to all types of emergencies on the coast or inland.

Operation Safety
Last week Team member David Munro from Portpatrick CRT attended the above event at Stair Park. The event ran from Monday till Friday with HM Coastguard, SFRS, Police Scotland, Scottish Ambulance Service and other partner agencies welcoming approx 500 school kids from across Dumfries and Galloway to Stair Park. The kids were given safety advice and guidance of what to do in various emergency situations and the importance of calling 999 ASAP to get help Fast!
