Portpatrick Holiday Cottage Description
We are located in a spectacular location on the South West Coast of Scotland in Dumfries and Galloway, SW Scotland.
Kirklauchline Cottage is a couple of miles outside the village of Portpatrick in a quiet and secluded, rural location for total peace and quiet - a truly "get away from it all" destination.
Kirklauchline Cottage benefits from stunning sea views and has a fully enclosed garden - safe for children or pets. We also have private parking.
Our self-catering holiday cottage sleeps up to 4 people in a double and a twin room with comfortable furnishings, luxury bed linen and fluffy towels.
Bathrobes are provided for adult guests to use during their stay. We provide Scottish Fine Soaps Company complimentary body wash, lotion and soap.
Each guests receives a personalised welcome basket on arrival (there's even a treat supplied for the dog), milk in the fridge, fresh flowers and a starter supply of logs, kindling and coal for the log burners. Kitchen essentials are provided - washing up liquid, kitchen foil and food wrap etc
We have a spacious open plan stylish living area with oak floor, modern furnishings, flat screen TV with freeview, DVD, Hifi with ipod dock, 2 log burners from Dowling Stoves at nearby Bladnoch.
Modern, stylish, comfortable accommodation with central heating and 2 cosy log burners. We have free WIFI (with fair use policy in place) and a landline telephone so you can keep in touch with your friends and family whilst you are away.
A fully equipped holiday home kitchen to prepare your al fresco meals or lazy breakfasts.
Our modern bathroom has a bath with a shower over the bath, fitted furniture and an electric towel rail.
The decking outside with garden furniture rewards you with peace and quiet and a stunning sea view across rolling farmland. The lack of light pollution also means that you can experience the "dark sky" and watch stars, meteors and sometimes the northern lights.
