Portsoy Links Caravan Park
Reviews
Nice, quiet, clean, lovely view and within easy walking distance of the two harbours, the Portsoy marble works and the town centre. Wonderfully historic village and the people are so friendly. The only reason I did not give the full five stars was because I couldn't find a public convenience there for those who were just visiting, and as there is a smashing play park for kids, there should be one.
Brilliant setting right on the beach front, a few minutes walk from village centre for local services. Good play area for kids.
Lovely site by the sea. Some of the pitches are on a bit of a slope. Nice clean and powerful showers.
Lovely quiet park with stunning views, warden's are very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the walks round the coast and evening strolls around the village, not forgetting the famous delicious ice cream.
Campsite is small with limited space. Location is very nice with lovely views over the sea. Toilet block is pretty dreadful and in need of total upgrade. Staff very friendly.
Is situated in a beautiful cove. Quite private and peaceful. Caters for all.
Great for tents as ur pitched practically on the beach. Very children friendly. Only 1 shower cubicle but not a disaster would defo come back.
Lovely site very rural nice
We had a great time here. If I had one criticism it would be that there are too few showers, but not drastically so. The warden is helpful and friendly, the beach is ideal and the sheltered bay, which is quite shallow, means the water is a reasonable temperature. It's the North Sea, so it's never going to be warm, but I swam happily and didn't feel the need for a wet suit.
The children's play area is well equipped and a good size and Portsoy itself is beautiful. I met one chap there who had taken his holiday here every year for 50 years! I am not likely to be that loyal, but I am sure we will be back.
