Post Office Ltd

I'd say, customer service in this post office is really poor.
Staff always finds time to chat with colleagues, but not to serve customer. Once you get there, be ready to wait for a while , till team will finish all conversations in between. Looks really not professional... I think it's really needs to be looked into, as specially all we are busy these days and simply have no time to stay and wait till someone will stop conversation and actually start do the job for which they are paid!

Veru rude indian woman who works there cut me off in the queue. when i told her that it was not her turn and that Ive been waiting to be served she just gave me a bad look and continued speaking to the cashier. Would def no recommend that office.

Wonderful staff to help with the electronic counter. I always go back to this post office even when it isn't my closest

Unlike other reviews about this post office, my experience was great. The lady that assisted me was very helpful in sending off my DVLA form.

Incredibly rude member of staff, she was both unhelpful and patronising. I had completed forms on site and was given an envelope by another member of staff to post them in. When going to post I asked said rude member of staff if she would mind adding tape to seal the envelope as it was opening slightly... I was then told in a rude manner "all parcels should be taped and ready for posting before arriving at the post office. Ill give you the tape. You do it" . I also needed some explaining of postal methods as was unsure which way to send off important documents. When explaining she was unclear and patronising in her tone. Will not be back.

Next time you need to post something in town walk a bit further to the Post Office in Waverley Mall.

Absolutely atrocious service. The one gentleman was a little helpful. I was processing a DBS application, and he pointed out that my statements had to be printed off at the bank. He kindly told me to not bother queuing again and come back to that stall.

I did so but on return had a woman serving me. She was rude from the off and incredibly unhelpful, she told me that the statements had to be printed on the day stipulated in the form. I explained to her that this wasn't the case and that it had to be printed within the last 3 months. I explained I had travelled 2hours to get here and had no access to a printer. she told me to find a cafe and pushed my papers back at me without a word.

I started searching for a cafe and then thought I better just check. So I called DBS directly to check the requirements. They stipulated clearly that the dates did not have to match but that the statements had to be within the last 3 months.

I returned to the post office and this time the same young gentleman processed the DBS within 5minutes and apologised.

I can understand the confusion on the woman's part, however she was incredibly rude, unhelpful, and at no point sought to clarify the requirements with anyone else.

Appalling customer service.

Some very helpful and pleasant members of staff, but others not so helpful and occasionally standoff-ish. Have been overcharged for post here a few times. It's alright.
