Garage roof cleaned, ridge and verge repointed in Winchburgh. The roof tiles will cleaned using wire brushes which removes all traces of moss and debri. The ridge and verges has the failed mortar removed then repointed with new mortar with added frostproof and cementone colouring to match colour of roof tiles.

Saw this today and thought I would show you how pointing should never be done. The ashlar parapet on this building has been clearly pointed by cement mortar and has been smeared all over the face of the stone. It is vital ashlar masonry especially on a parapet is build and repointed in traditional lime mortar to protect the stone and the overall structure of the masonry work. Cement traps water and moisture in the stone slowly eroding it over time.

These guys know what they’re doing. They did a great job in cleaning our roof and replacing some broken tiles. Cleaned our gutters as well. Very professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

Kev is my go to guy when it comes to Masonry work. He really understands how important it is to use traditional stonemasonry methods and materials for stonework that will last a lifetime. When work has been completed, he's always surpassed all of my expectations with high quality workmanship and his meticulous attention to detail.

I stay in Edinburgh and thought prestige would arrive later travelling on the M8 from Livingston,I was gladly able to leave my house and go to work as they arrived before 8Am when I returned at 5pm they where ready to finish for the day thankfully when I asked if they could stay on to finish rather than return the following day they carried on and completed for 5 more hours can't thank you's enough,hence reason for the 5 star rating,Would highly recommend.

This guy contacted me after I put a post up looking for someone to remove wallpaper from my kitchen and told me he would come with a steamer to do the job. Well this didn't happen he turned up with a scraper a ladder and a morrisions detergent bottle with water in it and didn't even do half the job. I had a plasterer booked in for a few days later which I told him about. he told me that only the top layer of paper (which there was several) had to come off as the plasterer would plaster over the top it for me later to find out that you should never plaster over paper so I had to pay someone else to come and do the job properly as he refused to read my messages that I send him through Facebook along with the pictures I send of all the rest of the paper that had to be taken off
