Great family day out. Very interesting

Really interesting site. It makes you feel disheartened at the industries the UK has lost. Thank goodness the site is there for us to see our Industrial Heritage. Thank you all at Prestongrange

Nice cafe and small museum. Other mining related buildings to view and nice walk around grounds. Good place to see bats at night

Great place to take the kids usually runs events through the warmer months. Lots of history about the old industry of the local area.

Great insight into the past. Lots of information and it's free admission. Open space for a walk around and s look at the old industrial buildings and equipment. Great cafe at reasonable prices.

Dog friendly, nice wee walk. Toddler and baby playgroup on Tuesday morning is great, kids love it.

Fascinating industrial museum - and guides very helpful

This is a hidden little gem, full of social history, untouched relics from the past all add to the atmosphere, a must for history buffs and families, loads of room to run, stroll and have a great cup of tea, the ladies in the information centre are a mine ( forgive the pun) of information and happy to chat.
