Prestwick Golf Club extends a warm welcome to all golfers from around the world wishing to come and enjoy our testing traditional Links.
One of the oldest golf clubs in the world, Prestwick Golf Club inaugurated the first Open Championship in 1860. The winner was Willie Park from Musselburgh with a score of 174 for 36 Holes, 2 shots clear of Tom Morris the Keeper of Prestwick’s green.

What a great day of golf...I wish that I could say it was my best round, but it was truly fun
This is our fifth years consecutive visits to Scotland, but we never gotten to here. Today, I and my wife were regretting why we have not played here before. Definitely one of the most memorable golf experience we had in our life. Our deep appreciations to our caddies, Chris and David.

One of the greatest golfing experiences i have had. Walking around Prestwick with Kiwi Golf Professional Cathryn Bristow. The first holes that played the Open still have the same feeling. The GM an Golf Professional staff with stories an service topping off an amazing experience.
Must say its my top 3 course. The starter makes you feel like a PRO. Top Nodge.
Home of the first 11 Open Championships. Both Old and Young Tom Morris won there. A few quirky holes but overall a wonderful loop. And if you need to catch a flight you are 5 minutes away.
Had a great day although typical scottish weather staff and the professional all very friendly. Course was great highly recommend the experience. Great touch getting a picture to mark the occasion.
Fun course with a lot of history. Do. It miss it if you are playing Troon

Classic just so unique. Carded my first Ace on 9. Caddies are the best in the world especially Andy. Must keep an eye open though cross fairways. Will definitely do it again
An amazing experience is to be expected on this fantastic golf course. That said, also Expect the course to punish your poor shots.
An amazing course, clubhouse, well stocked pro shop and a brilliant head professional David Fleming, This is definitely a must play course, and one any golfer must add to their bucket list. Today we had the extreme pleasure of playing 18 holes with David, his knowledge of the history of the course and his company really made our day extra special, we can not thank him enough. I’d also like to mention how nice and helpful all the staff including the catering staff were at Prestwick Golf Club, the quality of the food was great so definitely take time to have a bite to eat and get that full Prestwick experience.
The group photo that the starter takes in front of the clock on the clubhouse and is ready for you, framed after your round is a lovely touch too - definitely a 5 Star experience every golfer must do.

A must to do in Scotland. Lot of blind tee shot and challenging holes. I really appreciated the 17th with that huge bunker down to the hill in front of the green.
