Prestwick Holiday Park

Staff were very friendly, it was incredibly windy that night so the staff put us on a sheltered spot for our tent. Facilities were clean. Chem disposal for caravans. Has a bar but we didn't go in. Only downside was its proximity to an airport - even so not many planes came over and none in the night. We paid £20 for a big plot (two of us)

Terrible customer service. I called to enquire about booking two nights at this site for my partner and I, and another couple and as soon as I told them our ages, as we are in our twenties, I was immediately told no, they would not be taking our business and was hung up on. I then phoned back and asked why, and why they hung up on us and was told that rowdy teenagers would not be tolerated, they were very abrupt and hostile with us assuming we would be trouble. after explaining that it was two couples we were warned immediately that we would be chucked off if we made any noise or drank. We have as much right to be there as anyone else and the fact that it was automatically assumed that we would be trouble isn't fair. There way of dealing with potential paying customers is terrible and I would not recommend this site .

Beautiful park,so well maintained its emaculate 👍 owners and caravan owners are so friendly, the views are amazing we walked for hours down the coast then enjoyed a refreshment in the pub (pints are lush), we only stayed for 1 night to see how the park was and we will defo be back for a longer stay, well done guy lovely place yous have 😀

Nice clean site. Well laid out. Minutes from beach. Cheap to stay at, Just not a lot in the way of kids play parks etc. Nice wee pub with roaring fire though. Kids loved planes taking off and landing.

This is our 3rd visit in 3 yrs. Although we hadn't booked we were made very welcome. However it was busy so I recommend it is best to book. We stayed for 5days in our motor home and once again found everyone from the owner to the lady in reception the lady cleaning the toilets, to the groundsman friendly yet very professional. Noise late at night is not tolerated which is a bonus. Excellent areas to walk dogs including the beach a few minutes away. We hope to be back next year.

Great spot for day visits of Glasgow: 15 min by foot to the train station Prestwick Airport and then about 40 min by train to Glasgow Central. Location is situated next to the airport so planes are landing over your heads...also during the night. Close to the beach with sunset!
