Pretty Little Cakes

Hi everybody 🤗 as you are all aware earlier this year I made the decision to close pretty little cakes due to ill health. As they say as one door closes another opens! The past few months I have been working along side my mum on a new venture. We can finally announce that Airlie House has been granted full permission to open, so we are one step closer now to officially opening. Im pleased to announce we will be combining pretty little cakes alongside Airlie house and offering afternoon teas. I will post opening offers very soon! Hello 🤗 sorry iv not been on much lately, as you all know iv been quite ill. It was a big decision that I spent a long time thinking over however I decided it was unfair on not only myself to carry on but most importantly my customers, so I decided to take a break from cake making. Turns out I made the right decision as after just 12 weeks at home I'm back in hospital. I'm now aware that this could possible be the way things will be in the future, good weeks then bad and regular hospital stays. Thank you for all your kind wishes and taking the time out to stop and speak when I'm out and about I really appreciate it 😘Xxxx

As you are aware I have not been very well over the past few months and been in and out of hospital. Unfortunately it's not all over yet and iv an uncertain few months ahead so I have decided I am going to put the business on hold for a year so I can focus on getting myself back to good health. It's not been an easy decision but I know I must give myself the time. I apologise for all cake order cancellations throughout the year, I have forwarded a list of highly recommended local cake makers who I know will give you a first class service. Hi everybody, it's me 😊 I'm back home again at last! I'd like to say a huge thank you to all my customers who had their orders cancelled, thank you for all being so understanding. Poor Gary was thrown in at the deep end having to take over things, and contact everybody on my behalf, considering he hates technology and didn't have a clue about Facebook, he did a great job. Although I'm home just now, Im still awaiting a further operation but have to give myself time to heal before this can be done. So Iv been told I need to rest and get myself well again for the next stage. All orders unfortunately are still cancelled until 1st March. Then after I will only be fulfilling orders already booked in for the month of March. Thank you all very much for your get well messages and understanding about cancellations.

Just another update to let all Laura's customers know what is happening, things are slowly getting better so we have decided that she will not be fulfilling cake orders until the beginning of March, hopefully in order for her to make a full recovery. I have contacted everyone that I am aware of that has cakes booked in prior to this date but if you have not heard from us please get in touch one way or another.
We appreciate all the kind comments and replies that she has had a...nd that you have all been understanding over this unfortunate ordeal.
Hopefully she will be back as she always is, full of life and never off her phone!!!!

Just an update to my customers, things are not going very good just now for me, nothing serious, just suspected gallstones but they can't seem to find the little devils!!! due to one problem or another. The doctors have informed me that I could be in for at least another week or so for results, scans, blood tests etc.
Anyone who has cakes in the next two weeks I will try and get in contact with you as I will be unable to fullfill your orders, hopefully this give you a chance ...to make alternative arrangements. Bear with me as I may not return private messages promptly due to my condition but will do my best, you may have noticed this as normally my phone is glued to me!! and am very quick at responding.
Once again I sincerely apologise to all my loyal customers for this unfortunate circumstance and will keep you all updated on what is happening and hopefully I will be back sooner than later.

Could any of my customers who have cake orders for this week and possibly next week please get in touch or be aware that I have unfortunately ended up in hospital so will be unable to fullfill orders during this time. I am in the process of trying to contact you all as want to give you as much notice as possible to make amendments. I am so so sorry about this but it is out of my control what has happened and will get back hopefully ASAP.
