Pretty Woman

Dresses look beautiful and high quality. Good selection. Lovely veils and accessories. Lighting was excellent as they had plenty of natural light and the store was new and clean looking. However, the lady (seemed like the manager maybe?) was unwelcoming. I came down from the Highlands to try on dresses and happened across this store by accident. When asked if I could have an impromptu appointment they insisted I make a booking another time (which is not possible for me). The store was empty of customers, and continued to be empty for the next half an hour whilst I browsed and the lady pointedly wrote on a clipboard or sat giving me looks like she wanted me to leave. The service alone would make me not want to go back there.

I had an appointment with Laura about a month ago for a bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding in the USA in September - she was amazing! I asked for honesty and Laura was just that - she told me when things didn't work for my body type and pulled things that I wouldn't have picked myself. She helped me find a dress that really complimented my body and that I felt AMAZING in. Other staff members were also in and out, my husband and I were chatting with everyone... it was a great atmosphere, great service, and an all around great experience. Thank you, Laura! Can't wait to get my dress.

I have loved every minute of my shopping experience with pretty woman. I am a shorter lady with walking difficulties and so getting a good feel of how the dress moves was important to me. Lynn and her team have been fantastic helping me pick a dress that not only looks fantastic but is easy to move in. They have been good at pointing out quieter times so I can move around with help and they have really gone the extra mile with things like alterations so I can be as comfortable as possible on the day. Have visited other shops and have struggled with access and support. Highly recommend Pretty Woman, beautiful dresses and attentive staff!

Truly wonderful service from Lynn and Marie. From the very first visit to all subsequent visits I cannot praise these lovely ladies enough.
They are highly experienced and professional in the Bridal industry.
I had first class service and even additional services above and beyond what I paid for. The girls offered a wealth of advice as well as reassurance should any of those unexpected nightmares occur before the wedding.
As a bride I'm sure most will agree that we all have that fear of spilling something on our gown before the wedding, I was assured that nothing would be a problem and to go straight to the shop in the first instance if that should happen. Luckily it didn't. Just having that reassurance though was so good to know.
But one of the best things for me was how lovely the ladies are. Such nice people to speak to and i would often spend much longer at the shop than an appointment time as I enjoyed speaking to Lyn and Marie.
I shall miss going in to chat to them actually.
Any bride to be shall be in the most capable hands should they choose Pretty Woman to purchase their gown from. If their was a gold standard in Bridal gown sales, these guys are it!

I got my amazing bridesmaid dresses from here and the staff were amazing. From the first time we entered the shop we were served by Laura, a fabulous member of the team who made sure our first time looking for wedding dresses was special and an experience to remember. She helped me with trying on bridal dresses and was able to help me narrow down what styles I liked and didn't. We then got my bridesmaids to try on dresses and get an idea of what suited and what they liked. I unfortunately didn't find my dress at the store however we went back again for the bridesmaid dresses as we were blown away by how great the service was. Lynne (the fantastic owner) was on hand to help my 3 bridesmaids find and order the perfect dress. She listened to my ideas of themes for the wedding and gave us some tips and great advice. Her and her team were able to take 3 stunning (but plain) dresses and add in some fabulous detailing which fitted in with exactly what we were looking for. The seamstress at the shop was brilliant. The dresses fitted the girls amazingly and they all looked absolutely gorgeous on the day and they felt comfortable and beautiful. I honestly cannot thank the team at pretty woman enough, you all helped make our wedding day the best day ever. I would recommend this shop to everyone. Thank you once again. Xxx
