I ordered a vegetarian pasta dish, which came with a side mixed salad, for lunch. The pasta included grilled zucchini, tomatoes, and a spicy red pepper, in a red sauce. The presentation was lovely, the food freshly made. The flavors were authentic. This was a great find right in the center of the Style Mile. Service was good, too.

User

As always , food delicious & service quick , friendly & efficient... Great bonus to get the 40% discount off main meals!

While dining my Mum had a terrible coughing fit & without having to ask she was given a glass of water , top customer service!!!

User

Visited yesterday with my husband , staff were very friendly from minute we arrived and made us feel very welcome. Surroundings were lovely and food also didn"t disappoint. My husband said one of the nicest pepperoni pizza"s he has eaten in a while and my arrabiata pasta was also very tasty as were our mozarella bites....and not forgetting...sticky toffee pudding ! Thoroughly enjoyed our meal ;-)

User

Great service and great food. Service probably a little slow but friendly nevertheless. The toilet area could do with a makeover though: half of the taps were not working and it was very small area so on a busy day / night, I would imagine there would be a bit of a queue. It wasn't the best Prezzo I had ever visited but I wouldn't let that put me off returning there the next time I am in Glasgow. Overall, very good.

User

Great restaurant and lovely atmosphere inside. I recently had a valentines meal with my other half and we both really enjoyed our meal and prosecco. The only thing that let the place down was the service. We felt the waitress we had in particular rushed us a little too much and never paid great attention when asking if everything was ok. She actually walked away before we finished our sentence at one point. Other than that, perfect location for a romantic evening.

User

Great meal we eat here regularly and mostly always order the penne con salmon light and chilli prawns to start also we order a bottle of the house wine, for desert we shared carrot and amaretto cheese cake which was fabulous. 👍👍

User

First time in Prezzo for lunch place was warm after being outside ,staff were great meal was lush will be back again only thing was asked for water they brought a bottle which we had to pay for so next time will ask for tap water.

User

This was my 2nd visit here. My first visit was excellent however yesterday wasn't. The Man who showed us to a table didn't even look at us, he didn't welcome us and just put menus on the table without ever making eye contact. It was an awkward start.

However the woman who waited in us was friendly and lovely.

The food was delicious. The calzone was huge and as I took a photo of it because of its size I joked with the girl bringing water about this she practically sneered.

Mixed feelings about this place. Don't think I'll rush back.

User

There were 3 of us in our party. I was very happy with my lasagne but the other came burnt. It was sent back, took 10 minutes roughly and was freezing in the middle but hot around the edges so one of us did. It hbe a main. The 3rd main was average at best.

The staff were very friendly and tried there best to fix the situation. They did give us free dessert because of the main debacle which was appreciated. The restaurant is lovely inside with a great atmosphere and the staff were fabulous. We left a tip as our waitress couldn't have done any more than she did.

Second visit to the restaurant first visit could fault it however the second was not what me and my boyfriend expected the food was absolutely amazing but the service was awful we got shown to our table to then be asked what our drinks were which felt as if we were getting rushed we just sat down no chance to even look at the menu. Once we had our food we asked for another drink which then waiting nearly 20 minutes for we asked a man who was really nice where our drinks were he went to the bar and within 2 minutes he handed our drinks to which then another woman came over to hand the drinks we ordered 20 minutes ago. We refused the drink as we had it. We had a tastecard at this point and my boyfriend didn’t even ask for the bill yet and she placed it on the table and was very rude saying we don’t take them weekends so you can put that away which one you should state on your website that it’s Monday-Friday even if you don’t provide it and two let all your staff know as the second time when we actually asked for the bill she took it and then came back saying they don’t take them once we saw the bill they charged us the drink we never took was very disappointed in the service yesterday as this was our anniversary night and was there for our first date don’t think be going back for a while.

User

Well, where do I start. We'd booked a table for six o' clock and still hadn't had our main meal at ten past seven! We decided to leave and asked for the bill. The "manager" stated that she had taken the main meal off our bill which, as I stated, she had to as not only had we not eaten it... we hadn't even seen it!! I asked her what the problem was and she said they worked on a queuing system. When I pointed out that people who had arrived after us had been served and finished. Many other comments could be made but enough has been. Rubbish!!!

User

Restaurant was cold/service slow/we were eventually served mains before starters so food was taken back to kitchen and more delay incurred. Starters finally arrived and the hot one was barely warm, therefore not eaten. All plates cold and we were told the heating machine wasn't working! Head waitress did not understand our concerns so manager was called. On hearing our story, he commented that we should not visit at Xmas time when it was cold!! Took money off for starters, but all together a sub standard experience

User

Food was amazing. Customer service not so great. Took my 9 year old daughter on a friday night. From begining to end way over an hour. Looked like only 2 staff running the floor whoch meant for way to long between courses. Kids nutella calzone needa work as it was chewie and not very tastey. Wont be returning or recomending for families

User

The service today was absolutely appalling. Worst meal have had out for a very long time. Had reserved a table for 8 at 2pm. Ten mins after 2 we are still standing at the door as no-one was there to greet us. ( with a number of other people) . Eventually got to the table took 40 mins for drinks to arrive and the mains eventually turned up at 3.30. So 90 mins after arriving before some of the party ate anything.. food was awful as well particularly the pizza with virtually no topping. Complained, didn’t get an apology or anything off the bill.. won’t be going back!!

User

Tasteless food poor service and most of the staff were dismissive after we complained. Still waiting for the costumer service people contacting me over a week later. I will pass my findings onto a friend at the Scottish daily record.

User

Probably the worst experience I have ever had !the worst porn star martini I have ever tasted! It was watery....maybe research what they are meant to taste like & look like ! We had a ‘buy a gift’ voucher as a present! It has a gluten free menu but I wasn’t able to order my three course meal from that ! Not enough staff to cover the amount of tables . Will never be back !

User

Overall the food we thought tasted nice to begin with and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, our visit was completely ruined by my fiancé finding a long hair in one of his meatballs. By "in" I mean he'd taken a bite and had to pull it out his mouth. Absolutely disgusting. Definitely will not return. On a side note, his glass also had a crack running through it which isn't exactly great either.

User

Have had the cabonara before, usually adore prezzo. Sadly this was the worst experience I've had - pasta should not be a flavourless lump that has been over cooked. And if when you do a food check the client complains and hasn't eaten anything a brief shoulder shrug as you whip the plate away and then present the bill is not good customer service. The wait between courses was excessive but the alcohol deserves at a star.

Decided to try Prezzo while out shopping with my family in town yesterday and OMG I wish we hadn't bothered. We went for a chippy on the way home afterwards. From the outside it looks very beautiful and elegant but then again they do say that looks can be deceiving. Having gone in we were hanging around the front door for over 5 minutes looking like spare parts until someone could be bothered seating us. It wasn't exactly busy to the point that they were rushed off their feet and they could see we were waiting yet continued to walk by us. At that point I just knew this wasn't going to be a good experience if they couldn't even get the basics right such as making you feel welcome.

When we were eventually seated I noticed that everyone that came through the door after us was left for ages looking out of place so it would appear that this is a Prezzo trend. The waitress was very cold and clashing about our table with cutlery and came across as if she just didn't like her job.

Starters arrived about 40 min after we ordered and it was pretty poor. My partners bruscetta was cold raw tomatos and they had no mozzarella to put on it. In my experience bruscetta it at least warm. My calamari wasn't great either apart from the pesto mayo which was nice. My son had garlic bread which was just a slice of bread with a tiny bit of garlic oil brushed on top but practically bone dry. We must have waited a further 30 min for our main and when it arrived I was so angry by that point. My parter HATES cheese and the guy started grating Parmesan on his dish without asking if he would like some. I asked if my carbonara had been microwaved as it didn't taste good at all and he said no no we don't use a microwave here. I knew that obviously I was being sarcastic because at that point I was frustrated and hungry that this stupid restraunt had ruined what was supposed to be a nice end to a great family day. He took both dishes back and said he would get them cooked again and take them off the bill which was kind because for me it's not about having the issue it's how it's resolved. My sons pizza was edible thank god so at least he had something in his tummy. When the dishes came back my partner said his was decent enough but my carbonara just wasn't up to par for an Italian restaurant so I just had a few bites and left it. Almost £40 for the worst dining experience I think I have had to date. I wish I had found their Facebook page first as I wouldn't have even attempted here going with past reviews. I'll stick to my favourite places in future as at least you know you are getting gorgeous food with a warm welcome.
