The Odeon on Lothian Road Edinburgh is showing the Russian film Mathilde this week, 20-22 April (with English subtitles). The film caused controversy in Russia because of how it depicted Nicholas II (who has been canonized). The film has also been described as 'Russian Downton Abbey' - dancing, gorgeous costumes... Tickets for the UK premiere at London Film Week last year sold out within a day. If you want to see what the fuss is about, get to the Odeon this week!
