Project Theatre Description
Project Theatre is a community theatre arts organisation which aims to promote community youth involvement in drama, theatre and the creative arts across the Falkirk area through workshops, productions, working with other groups and arts organisations and supporting community initiatives.
We train our volunteers in drama, performance, directing and working with young people skills such as at national training events across scotland and at dedicated sessions.
We are young, forward thinking, modern and fresh and not afraid to try new things
We passionately care about providing each individual member a chance to shine and do not have favourites or typecast. We help develop those who need help rather than just focus on those who can do well already.
We do not hold unnecessary auditions for access into our company - any young person can join regardless of where you live or your experience or ability
We are a member of NODA (National Operatic & Dramatic Association) SCDA (Scottish Communty Drama Association), Youth Theatre Arts Scotland, volunteer centre falkirk and the Falkirk & District Arts & Civic Council
After every event we do we get young people to give us feedback and evaluation and their opinions matter.
We are making use of all modern means of technology and communication including the internet, our website and social networking.
We like to get involved and make a difference in the local community by doing festivals and other outdoor activities.
Many of all our volunteers are still young people themselves and we have a full working and efficient Committee and Trustees meeting regularly planning and scrutinising the company from things like feedback results and moitoring and auditiing money.
We are not a money making business but a not for profit community group and registered charity.

NODA Scotland Conference 2018! 🎭
From October 21st we will be running our junior/senior class from age 8+ at Dalgrain Hall from 1pm-2.45pm.
ON OCTOBER 21st ONLY CLASS WILL RUN FROM 11.30-12.45 DUE TO THE YOUTH THEATRE REQUIRING THE HALL 1-5.
We are particularly looking for older members as we hope to in the future split the junior and senior classes too.
... This super fun class will be an exciting way to learn something new or to continue working to new goals, with fun and energetic classes with no exam pressure in a relaxed environment.

From October 21st we will be running a Mini Group for ages 5-7 at Dalgrain Hall from 11.45-12.45.
ON OCTOBER 21st ONLY CLASS WILL RUN FROM 10.30-11.15 DUE TO THE YOUTHE THEATRE REQUIRING THE HALL FROM 1-5.

⭐ We are open to everyone £100 could contribute to our ongoing and increasing rehearsal and venue hire costs, enabling us to keep participation costs at a minimum.
⭐ We support emerging artists and practitioners £1,000 could pay for a placement for a trainee director, musical director, choreographer or designer to support our work and learn new skills and gain vital experience for their future.
⭐ We want to create and commission new work and hold exciting projects £5,000 could enable us to create a brand-new musical with inspiring artists or host a week long residential summer camp – free for all members!
