... Anybody who's donated are more than welcome to come and rip a wax strip off and give me a bit of pain or if you want to come on the day and have a shot just fire in a donation and any donation I get on the day that's cash and not directly through the page the money will be sent to Mental health foundation.
Nicola Orr is supplying the wax and strips but I'm needing a bed thing to lie if anybody would kindly let me borrow it I'll put a donation into it in your name.”

The Culture Club Monday's here at the playz, classes starting from 2.30pm
also tonight at 7pm we have TARA's AGM.
Back to normal at our cafe tomorrow as well, open for 9am serving up hot food and drinks till 2pm

It’s with much sadness that we report the passing of Ina Cavin (Oor Ina) from the Recycled Juveniles in the PLAYZ A real volunteer in Pennyburn for many many years was ina, just someone we all think will go on for ever.. she had a cuddle for everyone on a Thursday. Fair cheered us all up. Not to be forgetting the sweets.. love Ina Cavin and her crazy carry on to bits and will miss her so much ..much love and hugs to Jackie and all the family 💔 a sad day

Here whats happening at the playz now that the schools are back in term.

First day back at school after the summer holidays today. Hope everyone is having a great first day back (or for the p1s, a great first day ever!)

Monday's = The Culture Club 14.30 - 15.30 for nursery age 15.30 - 16.30 for p1&2 17.00 - 19.00 for p3 to p5 19.00 - 21.00 for p6 and upwards

16.00-17.00 = Guitar workshop (7y.o-9y.o) £4 17.00-18.00 = Guitar workshop (mixed age) £4 18.00-19.00 = Guitar workshop (mixed age) £4 19.00 - 20.00 = Drum workshop £2
Wednesday we have Zumba with Steven from 19.00 - 20.00 £3, followed by 30mins Abs for £2.
Thursday Music for Adults with additional needs starts at 10.45 - 11.45, £3
Drums lessons from 16.30 - 17.30, £2
then Kids drop in from 18.00 - 19.30 £1 which includes a drink. (for primary school age, any per primary school age children would need to be supervised by a parent)
Fridays is our day for the community singing fish super from 12.00 - 14.00
& Sundays (that's right, no rest etc) we have two groups for p7 age and upwards,
14.00 - 16.00 we have "Music collection of Kilwinning" a music group open to every skill level, and it's FREE
then from 16.30 till 18.00 - its the Sunday session drop in, for p7 age and upwards, a youth led drop in group where the pool table, big screen gaming, laptops or even just a place to hang out with friends, is available, plus its also FREE (tuck shop is open at these sessions)
Cafe is open everyday during the week from 09.00 -14.00 Monday till Friday

A great day was had by all from PRYDE in the Playz at McGavin park.

Fantastic work by the young ones who designed and then made the banners for walking up to picnic in the park tomorrow.
Remember 11am at the playz tomorrow if you want to walk up to the park together as a community. We’ll head straight after the pack lunches arrive.

What a phenomenal place this is. My son and band friends went along on Sunday and they all had a great day. Met new people, played music and basically had a fun time. Neal and the team are just great. A huge thank you from all us FuzIon mums.

What a fantastic community hub for all ages to enjoy, my girls have had a great time taking part in the activities this week. The staff and volunteers all work very hard and it is evident how well it is run!

Playz is a great friendly place to.visit workers very friendly and everyone is welcome u don't get that every where when supporting adults with behaviour issues and cafe good delicious and great prices

My son, daughter and band mates all go along to the Sunday Fundays! What an incredible provision! They absolutely had a great time, learned while playing and in a safe, fun environment with Neal and team who are fantastic musicians and mentors. Big thank you from Fuzion and their parents <3

It has been great fun coming to the playz to do for our mystery trips and if it wasn't for the playz I wouldn't be singing in front of people

I would highly recommend the Pryde. The staff are friendly and very helpful. My little girl had a great time at her 5th birthday party today Thank you.

Had my daughters 3rd birthday party here today, its a great venue! Facilities are great, staff friendly and kids have great fun x

First time in The Playz today. My son done the guitar and drum lessons. You will see him every week over the holidays. He loved it. Definetly be back.

Fantastic use of space and so well equipped. Can't wait to start our classes here!
