Visited puffin dive center with my BSAC club over the weekend. Lovely dive site and well stocked shop. Staff were really helpful regarding equipment advice. I also became certified at this dive site during our visit, so plenty of reasons for this one to stick in my memory.

This is the second time I have stoped at the puffin dive centre, you can’t go wrong with the accommodation, basic, but it’s everything you need, clean, warm, and with the dive shop next door which caters for any bits of kit or air fills etc. In short Spot On, thank you

Just spent the last few days with Puffin. Excellent set up and facilities and first class tuition. Thanks for everything guys, will be back very soon :) Can't recommend enough!

If you want to learn how to be a diving instructor.... There is NO better place than here. It is tough, hard work, challenging but you will be amazed by what you learn, by how much you can pass on to your students and by how confident you are: having been taught by the best.

Great staff! Very accommodating and greatly priced. My fiancée and I were visiting Scotland on a family holiday. We were told by friends that if we wanted to dive, that we needed to look up Puffin Dive Centre. I am so glad that we did. Mike and his crew are amazing! They are in their off season and doing missions in hard hat. Mike still pulled one of his guys to just show us around. They were very accommodating to our hectic holiday schedule. Mike said c'mon in, I'm only going to charge you for kit hire and my guy's time. WOW! That was great to hear! Being an avid diver and instructor trainer myself we chewed the fat a little as if we were old friends. We signed the usual paperwork and sent us to Mo. she was GREAT in helping us get all kitted up and in nice WARM undergarments and comfortable drysuits. Our guide (sorry I forget his name, young kid) was awesome! Very enthusiastic about diving. Took us down and around. We saw a bunch of different inverts, it was beautiful. He made sure to check on us frequently, he didn't know that we were both Instructors, but still treated us as avid divers all while being a diligent guide. I had a GREAT time. I received EXACTLY what I wanted out of that dive. I am thankful for Mike and his crew at Puffin Dive Centre for helping me gain the opportunity to dive in Scotland while on holiday. If you want to dive Scotland, I would imagine their peak season to be amazing based upon the level of professionalism and customer service that we received while in their off season; go with Puffin... or Nuffin ;)

Excellent course, brilliant instruction, would totally recommend Puffin Dive.

Couple of days guided shore diving and accommodation on my own in between group trips to Loch Aline and Scapa. Everyone was really helpful and obviously keen for me to really enjoy myself. Accommodation great value especially as better than many similar. Aiming to go again and do a couple of boat dives when next in the area.
