Pure gym is very good people how work in it the staff are very nice 2 ever class l have lost 9 stone and l am a tank now getting very big now and fit person

Just got weighed after 3 weeks of gym, Personal Training by Joe Robertson, a healthy balanced diet and lots of water, I've lost 9lbs!

I’ve been to three different gyms since I was 18, the first was too expensive and offered no “just gym” membership, and the second was ladies only, but it was always empty, makes you feel like a tool working out by yourself and the equipment was broken or secondhand.

Joined PureGym about 2-3 years ago and because I have depression and anxiety I find it difficult just leaving the house or my bed sometimes but I always feel better for coming here and getting a workout in even if I don’t stay long. This year I’ve been doing much better and getting exercise is a huge factor in that.

So far, probably due to my lack of discipline and motivation, I haven’t lost any weight, (I haven’t gained any either tho! ��) but this year I’m going to change that and turn things around, especially now I’m seeing a PT every two weeks to help keep my on track �� I love the range of equipment, the layout, the shower facilities and how friendly and helpful the staff are.

One thing I don’t love is that there aren’t any Arc machines and all the mirrors downstairs, I swear they add 5 stone. I wish there was a PureGym closer to home but I enjoy the travel.

I have been a member since pure gym opened and have found that the facilities are excellent. The training staff are very approachable and helpful

I engaged a personal trainer and with his encouragement I have achieved every goal which has been set but don't take my word for it join and see for yourself

Gr8 gym, excellent choice & full range of equipment, cardio vascular, free weights, and resistance, etc. brilliant opening hours offering maximum flexibility and ease of use/access and first class PT, special mention to Cameron Clark who I highly recommend. He will assist and help you achieve your goals. All in all, a fantastic fitness facility for Clydebank and gr8 membership fees too, with no contract or hidden fees...

Changing rooms are well maintained plenty of lockers best gym I've been to.x

Been going for a few weeks now and even though it hard to always get a class you want the PTs are brill and really think outside the box to keep the workouts fresh and challenging especially Ana , Neil and Chris.....

I like the gym only issue i have is since ive been a member its been closed on numerous occasions for one reason or another if it wasnt for that id give it a five . I train just about every day so will have to look elsewhere soon if it doesn't get better

Decent gym. Always clean. Plenty plates and equipment on hand for lifting. My one objection is that I don’t think strong perfumes should be allowed in the changing facilities. When it’s busy, so many people using the changing and spraying strong scents, you can barely breathe, it’s horrible. It would also be good to have a spray and paper towels handy to wipe down benches after use, especially those in the weights area.

Water fountain still not working after a few weeks - when will it be fixed? £1.50 for a bottle of water is ridiculous

Only problem with this gym is 1 no blue roll or spray to wipe the machines down. And 2 after 00:00 there is only 1 toilet for people to use. It can still be really busy after midnight so access to the other toilets would be nice.

Just moved office to area so looking for new gym. Free weight are is far too small. Only room for about 5 benches. Then weight machines are on a different floor. Why not put weights on one floor and cardio upstairs. Changing rooms were dirty when in. A banana skin just lying on a bench and powder all over floor for over an hour without getting cleaned up.

Could do with a clean in the changing room but other than that good mix of kit they could move the weight machines next to the dumbels and the showers u could cook an egg in them far to hot.

Potentially good facilities but wasted by the bellends that sit on the weight machines doing nothing for long periods, it's always the only one of that machine as well

Just went for my 1st yoga class there at 9.45am, sat about for 10mins to be told " sorry the class has been cancelled". Very unprofessional of the instructor who takes this class!!!! Will go to another class out with the gym

I have recently cancelled my membership at pure gym, unfortunately for me my experience wasn't the best in it. As one PT in particular felt the need to come up and constantly moan about things that were going on in the free weights area, u can't lift that here that weight is to heavy there, and constantly bypassing people sitting on benches playing/taking selfies on there phone. My advice would be check out the PT as when I was was watching them "training" and I use the phrase loosely I cringed and had to step in and tell some of them they were performing things wrong and dangerously. Some of the Pt seem to have just paid for a certificate rather than know the first thing about lifting weights. Tbf there is one or 2 people that do know what they are talking about. Ill not name as it narrows it down.

First time back at the gym in a year , place has gone down hill a bit. Very difficult to book into a class even though when u show up they're sometimes half full. And the classes you can get into... I've had two cancelled this week and due to work couldn't make anymore. Thinking of cancelling membership already only had it back a week .

Equipment was good and the price is good just if you like training like a gold fish every shopper can watch you through the windows as there passing by
