Is this is the best job in the world?
Surely it is. ♥️

I’ve spent the last couple of days updating the website. Putting in different photos and trying to make the whole site easy to navigate and understand.

Wee Update on Jura ===============
She’s home!
... Crate rest for 3 weeks - I got her a couple of Kongs to keep her busy, whilst she recuperates. Stuffed full of lovely stuff that will take Jura, a wee while to get through.
Hannah is so happy she’s home and Jura is definitely delighted, she’s back home! I don’t think Hannah could wait to finish work and get back to see her!
Thank you all for your good wishes and positive thoughts - they definitely helped.
Keitha and Hannah ❤️

Many thanks for those that have been in contact about the Sunday Job. I will be trialling a few candidates over this weekend and next - if none of these candidates are successful, I will be back in touch with everyone who has contacted me.

========================================= ==
... We are looking for someone to join our little team on a Sunday and during school holidays.
The hours are 8am until 4pm.
* You’ll need to be aged 16 to 18 years of age. * You’ll need to be able to commit to working every Sunday and helping us through the school holidays. * You’ll need to be reliable. * You’ll need to be able to work in all weathers and not melt when it rains. * You’ll not mind getting muddy and wet. * You’ll need to be physically fit as there is a huge amount of walking involved. * You’ll be able to work to extremely high standards. * You’ll be able to work within a team.
This will suit someone who loves dogs, loves the great outdoors and who wants to learn how to look after dogs properly and to an extremely high standard. We pay well above the minimum wage. Full training will be given by a senior member of the team.
Please don’t get your mum or dad to ring or message on your behalf. This job is not all about frolicking in fields with dogs - the job has huge amounts of cleaning involved so if you hate keeping your room tidy; you’ll absolutely hate this job.
I am ridiculously fussy about who works with me so if you are only coming along because your mum has told you to get a job - this is really going to be your worst nightmare.
Get in touch and tell me why you think you’d be perfect for the job.
Keitha ♥️

Wee Update on Jura ===============
Jura was operated on this afternoon and came out of surgery around tea time tonight. The break was in 3 places and though complex, she’s doing just grand.
... She’ll be home on Monday evening and then the long process of recuperating will begin.
I can’t imagine a better person than Hannah to take good care of her and keep her lovely and quiet. I’ve been googling how to keep Jura busy whilst she recovers and we’ll keep you all updated on how she goes.
Thank you all for showing such wonderful support and giving positive thoughts to Jura and Hannah - I know it has meant a huge amount to Hannah. You are all a wonderful bunch.

Miss B and her treat ♥️

User

We have lots and lots of dogs stay for extended periods of time. We excel in making the whole experience as pleasant and stree free as we possibly can.
The dogs get extra fuss, love and time spent on them and because we are so rigid in our routine - the dogs settle into the routine and know exactly what’s going on and what to expect every single day, they are with us.
Miss B is off to France to live with the owners son and daughter in law on a farm with another dog, Alpacas... with lots of land. The fly in the ointment was that Miss B didn’t have a Passport. So, off Miss B and I went to get that all sorted.
It takes 4 weeks for the Rabies shot to become effective and with the whole Brexit will we or won’t we crash out of the EU debacle, it was a close call.
So, we’ve had the pleasure of Mss B for an extended period of time. To say she’s been a joy, is a huge understatement. She’s been amazing and we’ve all enjoyed her company and her kisses.
She will be hugely missed and there were a few tears this morning, from me. When I say that the dogs become part of my family - I really do mean that. There’s been a lot of emails back and forth between me and the owner and I’m really going to miss our wee chats, too.
Godspeed Miss B - you are going to love your new life and what’s more your mum is going to love coming to visit you!

A lot of you know our wee Hannah who is part of the QBK Team and Family.
Her wee puppy Jura stepped on a thorn this morning, whilst out on her walk, and somehow managed to break her leg, in the process.
Of course Hannah is hugely worried about her baby but Jura is in safe hands and will be operated on tomorrow.
... This is Hannah’s first dog and it’s been quite a shock but you all know how these things happen - this was a one in a million fluke accident.
If you lovely lot could think positive thoughts for Jura and more importantly for Hannah tomorrow, it would mean a lot.
Thank you.
