All stocked up for a busy weekend - we try to source as much British produce as possible, things taste better when they’re in season! We also do our best to use as little plastic as possible so please bring along a bag and do your veg shopping with us! @ Quay Commons

MIMOSAS ON US!
If you thought brunch was only for weekends, think again. We serve the best brunch in Leith from 10am on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays too! Indulge in Williams and Johnson Coffee Co. coffee and fresh croissants and pastries from our bakery. Tuck into our house sausage sarnie or try our kefir porridge - with loads of topping options. Our ghee-fried eggs on our sourdough toast with house sriracha, coriander and sesame are divine, and so is our French toast to...pped with cultured cream & roasted fruit. Or simply enjoy a good old full Scottish and a cup of tea.
Tempted? Book a table for brunch* before the end of August, quoting "Facebook Brunch Drinks" in the special requests section, and we'll offer you a Mimosa or a Bloody Mary on the house.
Book here: http://bit.ly/bookingsQC
*brunch is served 10am-12pm Wed-Fri, 10am-3pm Sat & Sun

What a fantastic addition to the food scene in Leith! Unusual cakes (the gooseberry and elderflower looked stunning); the raspberry and strawberry tart features a touch of lovage, and the brownie is the gooeyist indulgence. I had the rhubarb choux that was perfect - crisp bun filled with rhubarb cream that erred on the side of soft. Cheeses includes Errington's Lancelot served with three different types of cracker. I settled for the lobster roll that was moist, full of flavour and gone in the blink of an eye.

Coffee is supplied by Williams and Johnson from just up the road. Apple juice is juiced in-house and Mungoswells flour is used for the breads. Well worth a visit. Oh and it's run by the guys from Gardener's Cottage.

Lovely place, lovely food, lovely beer garden

Have been twice now, both times the food & service was exceptional. I suspect I will be a regular.

Had a fantastic meal last night, great drinks, food and amazing deserts! The service was excellent. Looking forward to going back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Great produce and attention to detail = some great food. Liked that they also warmed up the tea/Coffee cups (could be larger) as often coffee can arrive tepid. Nice simple but creative menu and prices are ok- expected worse for that end of Leith. You also get a wee discount if local which is a nice touch. Looking forward to the evening sharing platters with a bottle of wine. Not bad for us vegetarians as well and I sense they like to be creative and mix it up a bit. Well worth a try.

User

Great new addition to Commercial Quay... just grabbed a quick lunch of Arbroath Smokie roll and Mutton Pie- the bread was beautiful for the smokie bun, packed with the crunch of cucumber. The pastry for the pie was UNREAL, using house-rendered lamb fat and tasting all the better for it.

Thoroughly recommend.

User

Great little impromptu snack! Cullen skink & Welsh rarebit! So tasty & not too many ££££

Would highly recommend a visit!

User

Great food, coffee, and staff. We were in the area for just a few days and would recommend it.

User

Great atmosphere, great food and excellent customer service!

User

Great addition to Leith... lovely atmosphere (loved the music) and breakfast was a treat. Shared granola with homemade yogurt and baked apricots, followed by avocado on toast - all delicious and so much more to come back for! Good luck to all involved!

User

Fantastic food and a great atmosphere have visited twice, very unique concept fresh bread and pastries baked in the large bread oven, a comfortable place to have a freshly made lunch and a fantastic range of wines. Take away also available so if it's lunch on the hop, pop in and treat yourself. Well done guys.

User

Brilliant place, sitting outside in the sun with a drink. Great food and service, highly recommend.

User

Popped in for breakfast and a coffee. Breakfast was spot on, venue is lovely, will be back to try the cakes as they looked amazing. Reason for a 4 not a 5 is purely down to the coffee size. Coffee was great but it felt like a toddler size mug.

User

Love the fresh sourdough bread.Even asked to bake to my liking which they happily do.
