New Horizon desktop for QMU students goes live!
QMU’s IT team has been busy over the summer preparing a new desktop platform to provide our students with a significantly improved service.
The desktop, which is now live, will improve the learning experience for students on campus and those who want to work remotely.
... With the new ‘Horizon’ desktop, students can expect all the standard software they are already used to, as well as some new useful applications. It will provide a more stable, reliable and improved IT service.

Queen Margaret University is looking for food and drink lovers of different ages to take part in food tasting panels at its campus in Musselburgh. Attendance on the panel would suit people aged 18 years and upwards who can take part in occasional panels mainly during week days and sometimes at weekends. This school change my life forever! it was so dramatic and on! I graduated on 2010 - Event Management and my special thanks is to everyone who ever decide to take European Union student in Scotland for the same fee as Scottish students!!!whitout You I will never be able to have the same opportunity to be a confident /post- communist country/ student who can eventually change, after returning to Prague, the way people here are thinking about foreign education and its importance in future. It was a true lesson of how to put the words in practice! thanks to all of you I am truly honored to be an ex- student and future excellent person and a great business girl!!I thanks million!!!!

This is the best school to find new friends and to learn English .The teachers are number one. They are very friendly and they miss me so much. Sudied both my BA and MSc in Hospitality and Leadership at QMU between 2009 - 2013! Amazing lecturers and and mix of students. The lecturers, and the focus on the mix of international students during my MSc in International Management & Leadership has gotten me a long way, managing restaurants, bars & clubs within a year after finishing.. An amazing building - was very impressed on my first visit with how light and airy it is. The organisation of the event was excellent too and the students and staff seemed very friendly.

(COMPREHENSIVE ARABIC) Self-learning Arabic language book. Use Amazon kindle version as eBook reading or buy the book or contact the author from its website by writing the book name above on google.

This is a great valuable book. You’ll learn how to read and write. You'll learn all basic Arabic grammar, daily life matters conversations, lot of vocab words, as well as the colloquial spoken Arabic (Allughatod-Darijah). It is very rich book with the Arabic language as well as with the Arabic culture.

It is very useful as outside source for Arabic language.

I am a prospective student hoping to move to Edinburgh and study MSc in Art Psychotherapy here. I would appreciate it very much to speak to someone undergoing or completed the course?! Attending the upcoming open day, Nov 6, would love to speak and get a different perspective of the course. Thanks!

Best school I went to when I went. I celebrated my finale day of class drinking vodka as I knew I had passed and that my exchange service was over. I must thank @trainspotting the film as it inspired me to go to Edinburgh from Melbourne over other schools. I truly gained a lust for life there. The bars were amazing the weird guys I met and drank with were the best mates you can have.

Anyone studying Retail Business? I have some course books from a few years ago but reckon they are still on the programme of study. Were always checked out of library so bought them. Includes retailing by Lewison, exploring corporate strategy by Johnson and Scholes, Human resource planning by Bramham plus lots more going cheap!
