Just to re-iterate what the person below said...DON'T work for this company! I did two 8 hour shifts recently as well as a 4 hour 'trial' before that. I decided not to pursue the job as it was intended as a stop gap, and I thankfully found something better. When a Manager of the store (Leigh) called to ask how I found it I thanked her for the opportunity but advised I'd found something else more suited to what I was looking for. I then asked about payment, and she said I'd have to speak to Suzanne (a woman I'd spoken to originally about the job over the phone). Yesterday when I called Suzanne, she eventually stated I WOULDN'T be getting any money. Her justification was vague and nonsensical. She also said "it states the reasoning in your contract". However, I hadn't even signed a contract, and NOBODY had informed me I wouldn't be getting paid for the shifts I worked! UNLAWFUL AND SHAMEFUL BEHAVIOUR! I have today contacted the citizens advice bureau. Hopefully these crooks get what's coming to them...and then some!

Don't work for this company. I worked 28 hours and they only paid me 4 hours.
I've phoned/sent emails constantly, no joy at all. All i was told was owner is going on holiday...
Aye with my wages & probably other staff wages.
It's now being delt with through citizen advice

What a stop! Initial thoughts are that this place isnt up to much however how wrong I was! The shop stocks everything from slushies to boot polish and plenty in between. Loses one star as the barcode on my empire biscuit didnt work correctly.

What a garage. Fuel jet wash bays. Shop packed with offers and a full blown Slush Bar
