The chill in the easterly wind made for difficult conditions today with very little activity on the surface, still we had 2 cracking clubs on the water that slogged it out and were rewarded with some decent bags.
Gilmerton AC fishing a 3 fish ticket weighed in 23 fish for 58lbs .
Dunfermline Artisans has a good day weighing in 29 fish for 75lbs 8ozs .

Raith welcomed the Prinlaws Angling Club today in what was to be a challenging day the club fishing C&R released 22 with many dropped, changeable weather made for difficult conditions at times with heavy downpours and swirling cold winds. Hundreds of fish could be seen throughout the day sipping tiny flies on the surface all over the lake, these fish were fixated on the tiny smuts that was frustrating but great to see.

Not been fishing very long now just over a year. A friend took me here about not long after talking up fishing and I want to go back all the time. Love the fight from the fish here even the small 1-2lb fish give u a great battle. Set up here is great aswell as a warm welcome from the staff who are more than happy to give u hints and tips to fish and on how u are fishing. love it and cant recommend it enough.

Great quality fishing with good boats, the electric motors are an added bonus. Fished the Raith twice this week and reckon the fishing is the best its ever been. Had never fished here for several years but already looking forward to returning.

Great location and fantastic staff that will show you the ropes if needed. Stocked well as I've personally watched the fish rise to the surface for the last 3 nights in a row and let me tell you that there is an abundance of them. Plenty of gear to buy in the store with great advice given aswell to what's catching the most fish. Happy fishing

Found this fishery via facebook by chance. traveled from Edinburgh a few times now, cracking fishery for a short time in new ownership, Quality fishery with Quality Grade 1 westmill trout. Had a few sore arm days from the cracking fighting trout in the water. Top class staff & a very warm welcome.

Fished down there for years. I think the quality of the fish at the moment is the best they've ever been. Caught my PB couple of weeks ago. 6.12lb fully finned muscular rainbow and it tasted fantastic. Keep up the good work.

Fished Raith Lake three or four times now since it has been takin over by the new owner craig scott and it has produced the goods on all occasions with Quality hard fighting Grade A fish.
