I've eaten a lot of Indian food in Britain and iin some of Europe too. Generally speaking I find anywhere north of Glasgow very poor, which is sad, considering I live in the Hebrides. .... but hey ho, I also was taught Indian cooking by Indian friends and do a lot. I've just had a meal (well actually there are 3 of us and we all shared all 3 meals) from the Raj Tandoori and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. Perfect spicing, innovative menu and if you call in to order and wait the food is cooked in front of you. No nasty secrets hiding away here! As we didn't have delivery I can't comment on that but I'd say it'd be worth waiting for if they delivered sometime during the right evening. You lucky people of Smithton .... you probably don't realise what a gem you have here..... whenever we're back we'll be back there, no question.

I just wanted to let you know extremely poor customer service I have received tonight. I placed my order over an hour and a half ago still not arrived. I was repeatedly hung up on when I called to chase my order. The guy spoke so fast I don't know what he said.. Oh 5 mins! I was originally advised 45 mins. Not happy lack of care that was taken tonight. Extremely poor. !! Never order again
