Lovely food, friendly staff, nice attmosphere

Excellent food, great service and really good value for money. Whenever I'm in Inverurie I try to eat here.

We arrived on a Sunday on our way from Aberdeen to Inverness. At first, the owner warned us we need to finish by 2pm (we arrived at 1:20pm, the place opens from 12pm). There were 5 of us so we thought the tight dining time was a bit harsh, but since it would have been hard to find another place to eat with short notice, we agreed and stayed. Once ordered, and once the food started coming, we were all delighted by the taste and service. The seafood curry was the best, and the sweet naan bread served as a nice dessert. Although rushed, we had a very nice lunch.

The service was spot on, with all of the various staff we encountered being incredibly friendly and helpful.
The dish selection had all the classics and usual suspects (though often with a twist) but the chef signature dishes gave us something completely new and different to try.

The portion sizes were great and at no point did we think that it wasn't great value for money as well.

Have just returned from the quickest visit to a restaurant ever! Very hurried service from waiters running about the place! The main courses were delicious but when I asked for the dessert menu the waiter told us that the freezers were broken so no desserts available... seriously?!? The manager came over a few minutes later, offered us drinks on the house if we left in 10-15 minutes. We declined the 'free' drinks, paid and were promptly ushered out of Rajpoot! Shocking customer service. In and out within an hour!

Really good service. 2 minor mistakes when a drink was forgotten for a while and the sweet menu took a while. Overall it was still very good. Friendly staff and excellent food. 😊
