When mum goes to India and you really miss her food, then stop off here!

If you wanna give your mum a rest from cooking amazing punjabi food, then bring her here!

If you want a McDonald’s, don’t do that, just go to Ranjit’s kitchen!

(Great tv advert script) but also my honest review!

We went for lunch and it was lush! Service was great and we ordered everything that was recommended...great advice so if in doubt just ask. Fresh, tasty and well priced, I’ll Ed be back. PS The vegetable paratha is a must

Tonight I visited Ranjits with 3 friends for dinner. I had a thalli and we shared some pakora. I've had the pleasure of eating thalli all over India and I can honestly say tonight's was up there with the best of them.

We'll all definitely be back.

User

The great thing about going on holiday is knowing that when you come back you can get great food again from Ranjits kitchen.

So reasonably priced, best samosas in town, and the loveliest staff around.

User

Tasty Panjabi food, busy little place, exceptionally well managed by the very welcoming and patient staff.

User

Such a lovely place - fantastic vibe, reasonably priced and the food is delicious. The staff are also really lovely. I'll definitely be back.

User

It's been a while, and for the life of me I don't know why, absolutely incredible vegetarian food at an unbelievable price. No wonder the joint is always rammed. Knocked it right out the park, the daal was superficial, the turnip was probably the best turnip I've tasted. I hope we can get a seat the next time, sitting in looks like a great option!!

User

IF you’re anywhere near Glasgow go to this place it’s totally awesome, yummy food, lovely place and staff plus massive portions and such good value. I recommend ordering a little to share and then ordering more (we ordered way too much!) - definitely try the sweets too 😊

User

Fabulous, been here’s few times and never been disappointed, food is fab and staff friendly, prices outstanding. Can’t recommend this place enough. Definitely 5*.

User

Fabulous food and amazing staff. What a find on a Friday afternoon!

User

Earned their #1 spot for sure. Had a delicious meal, staff were so friendly and spoke to us like friends. We finished eating about 20 mins before closing, and there was a tray of fresh out of the oven desserts and they let us each try one . Plus we ordered their dessert which was a Punjabi take on carrot cake and realized when we left they didn't charge us for that sweet treat either. A nice last meal out before flying home to Canada. Thanks Guys!!

User

Crappy food, never ever seeing a tikki like what was served. For good few minutes me and my friend laugh over it. The owner wasn’t happy the way we were laughing over his tiki. Ranjit’s kitchen it is a big no for me to come back there again and I will warn my friends as well!!

User

Can't fault the place. Very generous portions for the price, all delicious, all fresh. The staff are friendly and well-informed; they can advise you regarding any dietary requirements you might have (it's very vegan-friendly).

User

Came here during a visit to family in Glasgow. The reviews are all true!! Amazing food, we came straight from the station last Thursday which was Saag night, service was friendly and very informative about other dishes on offer. We ended up having the paneer tikkis, samosas, aloo tikkis as well as Saag and roti. All was served piping hot and only one word it was all delicious!! Very authentic Punjabi home style cooking, definitely like mum would make comes to mind. We even had the masala tea and barfi. Couldn't move after, but we returned again for Parathas (again omg delicious) before leaving on the Saturday. A little gem in Glasgow I would highly recommend to everyone to visit. Yes it's all vegetarian but even the meat eaters amongst us weren't bothered, everything is too tasty. Staff are friendly and very helpful. All I can say is I will be back when I return to Glasgow!

User

Amazing mouthwatering Desi food, The Best Indian restaurant in Glasgow!

Puts all the ‘other’ big named restaurants to shame!

User

Absolutely amazing, tried for the first time tonight and will most definitely be back!!

User

Absolutely amazing food, great portion sizes, friendly staff, very reasonable prices.

User

Great wee gem of a place - very ordinary basic environment - that serves authentic homemade like food. Love the fact that it is a very limited menu with two new options every day. For Glasgow very reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and the owners son are normally there to advise those who may not recognise all the things it has to offer. Only one criticism they need to improve the service a little. Lunch for two should arrive together for both persons instead of 5-7 mins difference. I would highly recommend this place if you like Indian food that is different from the rubbish served in the hundreds of Indian outlets in the city.
