With his background in nutrition, Idris can provide diet guidelines to suit you and to help you further in achieving your desired result.

Idris trains in the southside of Glasgow but is willing to travel to surrounding areas. He is also happy to train you in your home, gym, park, where ever suits you best.

"NO CARBS LATE AT NIGHT" -
This is a highly common diet mishap, especially in those trying to cut fat quickly. They believe that carbs cannot be eaten later in the day, and that carbs are more likely to be stored as fat.
The logic being as you'll be going to bed shortly after, you won't have chance to burn them off.
... However, the human body doesn't really work like that. Your body is in constant state of storing and burning fat. Therefore it is the balance between the two that determines if/when you will store fat. Your total caloric intake at the end of each day or week determines whether you gain body fat or lose body fat.
So it's the total amount eaten at the end of your day that matters. Whether you're talking bout calories, carbs or whatever, not the time of day you eat them.
Take home message, Along as you aren't consuming above your daily calorie intake, you will not store carbs as fat.

Anyone looking to get into shape whilst taking out their stress and anger I have news for you!!

We are coming up for mid January and everyone should be well in to their new year resolutions of getting fit and in to shape for summer.
One thing everyone shouldn't obsess over is the number on the scale. The picture below is a fine example of this. Both professional heavyweight boxers and recently fought each other. Anthony Joshua weighed in 17stone 7lbs and Dillian Whyte came in at 17stone 9lbs. Joshua is muscular and hard looking whilst Whyte is softer and chubbier looki...ng. Remember the scale doesn't tell you how much body fat you have lost or muscle gained.
There are many ways to track progress, some may work some may not. Below I have listed methods I always use.
1. Photos- take a before picture and a picture every few weeks to see if you are making progress with losing fat/gaining muscle. Make sure you use good lighting.
2- Measurements- taken on certain parts of the body, measure again every few weeks.
3. Clothes- How well your clothes fit and make you look, such as clothes you haven't worn in a while. Do they fit better?
