Rave & Raise Description
Rave and Raise is a charity organisation set up by students at Sheffield Hallam University through the Drum and Bass Society. Our aim is to create more awareness around the homeless community and do everything we can to help. Through events we raise money for local charities and serve as a collection point for any unwanted items that can be donated to the cause. As well as having a sick night raving whilst were at it. We like to keep the student community involved and hold DJ competitions to perform on the night, allowing everyone the opportunity
Our first Rave & Raise was at the Harley on the 1st March. In this night, we raised just over £500 for the charity 'Roundabout Sheffield' that focuses on the homeless youth in Sheffield and donated loads of items to 'Ben's Centre' to be distributed across Sheffield for those in need.
